Terms & Conditions

Carousell Pte. Ltd. (“Carousell”) Monthly promo code campaign (the “Campaign") commences on 04
October, 12pm and ends on 31 October, 11.59pm (both dates inclusive) [optional: or when all 1000
successful claims of the Promo Code (as defined below) have been made, whichever is the earlier] (the
“Campaign Period”). All capitalised terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to
the same in our Terms of Service.

You acknowledge, agree and understand that:

1. You will need to perform the following successfully during the Campaign Period to qualify as an
eligible Carousell user (each, referred to as an “Eligible Carousell User” and collectively the
“Eligible Carousell Users”):
1.1. Spent a min RM30 on ANY PosLaju shipping and Carousell Protection enabled listing
1.2. have an Account in Malaysia; and
1.3. enter the OCTPL promo code (the “Promo Code”) on a Qualified Transaction, where a
“Qualified Transaction” is a transaction must be in relation to a listing that
1.3.1. Carousell Protection enabled; and
1.3.2. PosLaju shipping enabled; and
1.3.3. is in accordance with Carousell’s Terms of Service.

2. The Promo Code will expire on 31 October 2021 , 11:59pm and is only valid for the first 1000 Eligible
Carousell Users.

3. The Promo Code is limited to one (1) redemption per Eligible Carousell User.

4. [Upon completion of the Qualified Transaction, the Eligible Carousell User will be entitled to a RM5
cash credit (“Cash Credit”). You will not qualify for the Cash Credit if we reasonably believe that the
Qualified Transaction is in breach of these Terms or our Terms of Service, unauthorised, fraudulent
or otherwise unlawful.]

5. All Carousell Protection enabled listings are subject to the terms and conditions as set out in our
Terms of Service.

6. Carousell reserves the right to determine the eligibility of each Qualified Transaction and refuse
the provision and/or utilisation of any Promo Code [and Cash Credit] if we reasonably believe that
the Qualified Transaction is in breach of these terms or our Terms of Service, unauthorised,
fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.

7. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Carousell has the absolute discretion at
any time and from time to time determine the eligibility of any Eligible Carousell User and/or
eligibility of any listings by an Eligible Carousell User, and shall not be obliged to give any reason
therefore. The decision of Carousell on all matters relating to or in connection with the Campaign
shall be final, conclusive and binding on you. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
Carousell shall not be obliged to disclose any matter relating to the Campaign and the results
thereof to you.

8. Carousell shall not be liable in any way for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising out of or in
connection with the Campaign, however so arising, including without limitation, any loss, (including
lost opportunities), arising from any late or non-notification, any error in computing the order of the
Promo Code claims, any technical hardware or software breakdown, malfunction or defects, failed
delayed or incorrect transactions, lost or unavailable network connections or any notice that is lost
or misdirected.

9. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to release and hold Carousell harmless from any and
all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to any person or property
arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly:
9.1. The awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any Promo Code [and
Cash Credit] awarded pursuant to this Campaign; and
9.2. The participation in the Campaign or any Promo Code [and Cash Credit] -related activities.

10. By participating in the Campaign, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be
bound by these terms and any other requirements set out in any related promotional material and
all amendments, additions, replacements, modifications as may be made from time to time by
Carousell.

11. Carousell may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add
to these terms (including the Campaign Period and the conduct of the Campaign) and may also

suspend and/or terminate the Campaign or substitute the Promo Code [and Cash Credit] at any
time without any notice or liability to any person.

12. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and any brochures, marketing or
promotional materials relating to the Campaign, these terms shall prevail.

13. A person who is not an Eligible Carousell User may not enforce any of these terms [under the
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act of Malaysia and notwithstanding any term herein, the
consent of any third party is not required for any variation (including any release or compromise of
any liability) or termination of these terms.

14. These terms are subject to Malaysia law you hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts of Malaysia
