2. Why was the Tokyo 2020 Olympics cancelled?

The Tokyo 2020 Olympics cancelled because covid cases in the country on the rise, many in the nation and around
the world have begun to wonder whether it would be in Japan's best interest to postpone the Olympics. The games
were already moved from late July 2020 to July 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

3. If you are the head of the International Olympic Committee, what would you synthesize to organize the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
(New Normal Edition)

If I'll be the head of the International Olympic Committee, I will ensure safety for all athletes. Every athlete needs
to be vaccinated if they're willing. We will follow protocols and guidelines to prevent Transmission of the Covid
virus. I need to consult the World Health Organization for their advice on how we will conduct the Olympic without
any possibilities of Virus transmission.If World Health Organisation doesn't approved it , We will follow the decision
because every athletes need a to ensure their safety.

4. List down the names of Filipino who got a medal in recent Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Assessment

Just recently, the Philippines celebrated the victory of hidilyn .Weightlifter and four-time

Olympian Hidilyn Diaz has become the first Filipino to give the Philippines an Olympic gold

medal. The Philippines has been deprived of the feat despite participating in every Sumer

Olympics edition since its launch in 1924, save for the global sporting event's 1980 run.Hidilyn

was born on February 20, 1991 in a small village in Zamboanga City, Mindanao. Growing up in a

family of eight, Hidilyn’s childhood was just as colourful as every other child; however, she was
not exempted from problems and life’s challenges. When she was in elementary school, she

had to go with her father, who was a tricycle driver, to sell vegetables and fish. Her family also

experienced to have rice with only salt and soy sauce as their meal. Despite the difficulties she

had encountered, the young girl still braved her way to her biggest dreams as she turned

poverty into her greatest motivation to excel in her passion, which is weightlifting.

Hidilyn inspire many student to become a healthier despite in our situations.She inspire many

young weightlifter to follow her step.Hidilyn share is braveness and love for the sports.Despite

in our situation we are still studying Physical Education to help the physical , mental and

emotional health of many students like me.Its really hard to perform P.E in house because

there is no equipment but hidilyn inspire me to think innovatively like what she did in her

dumbbell.
