2. What makes the whole being of an individual- nature or nurture?
Every individual was born with uniqueness. In that uniqueness, there’s a person(s) behind.

I believe that our family and the people around us make us as a whole individual. When we
are young our parents teach us good values. How we treat other people or how we treat our
parents. But some kids experience traumatizing events in their houses. In that case, they are
adopting what their families do to them—either good or bad. An example of that is when
the kids experience violence—physically or emotionally. The kids can do that to their
classmates or other kids too. The picture I want to draw to this is when the kids had an
experience of events that happened between them and their families. They can keep and
adopt it as they grow up.

However, I do believe too that the people around us make us as a whole individual. Just like
our parents, the people around us have a good or bad influence on us. An example of that is
your friends. When you are attached to them for so long, you can adopt their characteristics.
Therefore, there is a time that your traits can change. In addition, people who experienced
bullying. They are traumatized and have a chance to change their characteristics.

One of the theories called "Social Learning Theory" states that children learn by the
behavior of others. It proposes that new behaviors can be acquired by observing and
imitating others. Like I said before, parents and the people around us have a huge impact on
our development as an individual. It is up to the person whether they changed in a good
way or in an appalling way.

In conclusion, both nature and nurture make an individual a whole being. Due to their
experiences—what they adopt to other people. Theyʼve changed their mindset or life because
of that.
