Interview Questions:

1. Tell me about yourself.

a. My name is Jeleah Manalastas, but you can call me Jeleah. I am an undergraduate of the
program Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management
in the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Since I don’t have a job experience yet, let
me talk about my life as a student instead. I stopped pursuing my program until my third
year because I want to help my family financially survive in this time of pandemic. I am a
constant honor student and a dean’s lister from 6 th grade to my third year in college. My
hobbies include watching movies, baking, and doing some art works.
2. Why should we hire you?
a. You should hire me because of three reasons. First, is that I am an active listener, which
means that I am easy to train and eager to learn new experiences. I always make it my
goal to keep learning and improving at the same time. Second, I always pay attention to
details to provide a better work quality. I always make sure that I do the job correctly in
an efficient manner. Lastly, I know I can be one of the great assets in the company even
though I am just a newbie. I want to build a long-term career and contribute in the best
way I can in this industry. Also, I assure you that being an undergraduate won’t be a
hindrance from being a responsible employee.
3. Why do you want to work in a call center?
a. We are all affected badly by this pandemic. When my parents caught the COVID-19 virus
and had to stop working, we had no choice but to find a job that will provide us means
to survive. Practically speaking, I chose to work in this type of industry because I know
that it is the only industry where I could earn enough money to help my family in our
daily expenses. Also, call center is one of the industries I am already familiar with
because of my friends who are also agents. They tell stories and their experiences, and I
know that this industry is indeed a stressful one. Schedules are always temporary, and I
have to work in a graveyard shift. But I won’t mind sacrificing for my family.
4. What's your greatest weakness?
a. I think my greatest weakness is my attention span. I have a short attention span when it
comes to doing things that do not interest me. But I always find ways to stay focused
and finish those things like being motivated or rewarding myself after.
5. Strengths
a. Attendance
