We are committed to ensure that our project site and personnel are kept safe and protected in cases of

security threats that may be inevitable in Iraq especially in cities with high risk security level.

Over the years, the company has survived and delivered successful projects even in the most critical
period in Iraq because it has given an equal importance to its Security Plan and the Contingency Plan.

Working in Iraq remains to be a challenge despite that Security level has tremendously improved over
the years, however we ensure that it remains to be ready, fully equipped and prepared for any possible
security threat.

BASRAH -

I. Site Security:

1. Perimeter Fencing
 Surveillance Cameras (CCTV)
 Proper lightning
 Stationed and Roving Security Guards
 Tower Guard
2. Access Control
 Search / Inspection on entrance/exit of vehicle, personnel and visitors
 Delivery on site Procedures
 ID Cards for all laborers/ personnel at site
 ID Cards / Visitor Regulations
3. Communication Facilities' access, control & monitoring
 Availability of GPS/UHF –VHF radios
 Internet connectivity
 Telephone lines
4. Identifying a "Safe Area" wherein personnel can seek refuge
5. Constant liaison with local law enforcement agencies

 With our previous executed projects in Basra, it has already established a strong relation with the
local government. Most of the residents in this area are former workers / employees of the
company.

 We have an authorized license for its security personnel to carry weapons and ammunition.
II. Personnel Security on Site and in Transit:

1. Convoy Procedures
2. Armored Vehicles with complete trauma packs /GPS/UHF-VHF radios and maps are provided
3. Compliance with Government Transport Procedures
4. Wearing of body armor and helmets of Drivers / Security personnel

III. Procurement / Delivery of Materials

Since Basrah is strategically near the border of Kuwait and Um Qassim Port, it is preferred that all
procurement of materials are sourced from these countries.

From Kuwait border, a security convoy will be provided to the delivery vehicle up to the site while the
delivery of the goods from the port will be easier.

For Mosul/Kirkuk

Procurement / Delivery of Materials

Baghdad has tremendously improved its security status however for precaution measures, it is
preferred that procurement of materials are source from UAE and other neighboring countries.

Considering the distance between Um Qasser Airport and Sather Air Base, we will provide a strict
security convoy on the delivery vehicle and should there be road block due to security reasons, we will
utilize our Store Cabins / Sub store which are located in most of the cities in Iraq for safe keeping of
these imported materials.

IV. Equipment & Facilities on reserve in case of Insurgency

1. Water tanks: in case the main source of water supply was affected by the insurgency, we have
two types of Water tanks as follows:
 Water tanks for utility use which the supply comes from deep well
 Water tank for consumption which the inside of the tank is coated with epoxy paint

2. RO Units
 To disinfect the water for consumption

3. Generators

4. Diesel Storage Tanks

V. Medical Facilities

We have a medical team composed of medical practitioners that are well trained to handle first aid
treatment on site. On the site, we have ambulance and complete medical kit.
