Reflection on Marx Theory of Alienation 2

Introduction

Karl Marx is recognized as a prolific and persuasive thinker of the 19th century

who advocated for the creation of a classless society that would be led a suitable

democracy and fairness. In his theory, he argued that employees were being pickled as

commodities and by this, he really condemned the capitalist system. This system was

being used by firms that employed these workers and they had the power to control these

individuals since they are the ones who are paying them. The theory of alienation argues

that workers are disenchanted with their work since it is controlled by supervisors and

managers. He further explains that since the workers in these firms are known to be poor

as
they cannot live in good conditions since their employees pay them small wages but them

personally, they gain a lot of profit from these firms. However, in order to get good

quality products from our firm’s employees have to pay workers awesomely since this

will always encourage them to do a greater job and work hard which is a win to the firms.

Capitalism still exists although we are in the 21st century since many citizens

globally are being employed in firms owned by individuals who are richer but still want

to achieve more, so they engage (Dunayevskaya, 2018). people in hard labor but pay

them peanuts. Trade unions have been formed in different countries worldwide so as to

make sure that workers are treated perfectly without discrimination and paid well. Some

of these individuals have gone through a proper education system and they have been

trained perfectly in their jobs so they need to be paid awesomely. In connection to Marx
a

arguments on how workers were being treated in firms, I can recall one moment when I

had to hustle in a site where building blocks were being produced. We were being paid

little wages yet the company never even catered for our lunch expense forcing us to use

the small wages they were paying us. Comparing want they earned after selling the

products with what they paid us one could see perfectly that we were being oppressed.

Reflection on Marx Theory of Alienation 3

Summary of Karl Marx main arguments

He argued that alienation was an expected consequence of capitalism due to many

reasons. He says in his theory, that personnel’s were being manipulated by the vigor of

capitalism so as to upsurge the productivity and yield (Marx, 2015). but in the end, the

workers will eventually lose courage and determination. This is because the capitalist

endeavor to ensure the labor activity of staff are focused towards exact goals and aims.

The main purpose of the organizations is to certify that the employees are oppressed

enough so as to attain the extreme surplus. Hence the employees are considered devices

that led to the loss of their own identity. This can result in frustration and anger since the

as
manner of creation is confidentially owned.
c ew Conclusion

Marx’s really needed every worker working in any firm to be handled in a perfect
ur
manner in that his or her needs are being taken care of properly. This is a good campaign
so

that Marx expressed in his theory and sociologist’s should support since the theory
se ia re

basically talks about how workers are being treated and how they are supposed to be

treated and sociologists are also workers. In deed the basic concept that the theory is
Co re tud

co

trying to insinuate is that workers should be treated fairly with a lot of dignity since they
o.
s

strive a lot to come up with new products in the market. It really hurts to have knowledge
er

in producing a certain product that even the owner of the company does not understand
Th

the procedure of producing them yet he treats you badly without considering your right as
a

a worker and desires. Truly, this model encourages me to always talk about the

importance of handling workers in a proper manner, respectful and ready to hear out their

grievances. When you do good to them they will do a perfect job for you.
