In fact, the comprehensive sustainability programs

the BOD has developed over the years form a

resilient foundation in the long run underpinning
our environment, social and governance (“ESG”)
framework. By operating responsibly and
sustainably, ICBP is actively contributing to food
safety and food security for Indonesia.
During the year, the BOC was supported by the
Audit Committee (“AC”) and the Nomination and
Remuneration Committee (“NRC”) in its role to
supervise and counsel the BOD. The AC had the
important task of ensuring the Company’s financial
reporting, internal control and audit processes
were adequate in meeting Indonesian regulations
and the Company’s code of conduct. The NRC was
responsible for reviewing and nominating members
of the BOC and BOD, as well as recommending their
remuneration aspects, and development programs.
We are deeply saddened by the demise of our dear
colleague, Mr. Antonius Prijohandojo Kristanto, who
was the NRC Chairman and a member of the AC.
On behalf of the Company, I would like to express
my sincere appreciation and gratitude for his
invaluable contributions and services to the
Company.
In closing, I would like to thank everyone in ICBP
for putting in an exceptional effort to pull the
Company through an extraordinary year. It was
by no means an easy feat, and could only have
been accomplished with dedication and a genuine
desire to serve our consumers and communities. I
am forever grateful to our shareholders who stand
steadfastly behind us, giving us the confidence to
carry out the strategies boldly.
The years of recovery ahead will be full of hurdles
