LET'S ANALYZE THE PARTHENON ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF

THEORY:

( EXPLAIN CHARACTERISTICS BASED ON FORMS AND OTHER DETAILS)

1 SYMMETRY - The symmetry of the structure of Parthenon is perfectly

aligned and balanced pillars having the numbers of columns, for the outer
column there’s 43 while in the inner column 43.

2 HIERARCHY There are various design that can be seen in the exterior of

and highlights. The sizes of different structures that was included gives more
impact to emphasize especially the pillars and roof.
4 REPETITION - Repetition can be seen to the flutes or the pillars of the
Parthenon Structure, also the boxes above the pillars has repetition also by
its shape and pattern.

5 TRANSFORMATION - if we can differentiate the old Parthenon and the

Parthenon now is that there are some changes for example how they
restore the pillars and re-cement the old one to be more stronger and the
old Parthenon were not able to be fully constructed but as time passes by it
became one of world’s known structure because of its uniqueness and
