Installation
- Login dialog of CAP 501 is not shown any more on starting or
closing the program, but instead the program is started directly in Changes from previous
the Project Structure Navigator view. Information provided by the version
removed login dialog is now shown on the new About dialog started
from the Help menu of the Project Structure Navigator.
- Title and icon for the CAP 501 main window are improved.
- Tooltips are added to the tools containing toolbars.
- Support for the SPA communication protocol over TCP/IP net-
work has been added. The use of the SPA TCP/IP protocol re-
quires that an Ethernet adapter is connected to the protection
device.
- The upload time of the disturbance recordings from REJ 5xx, REU Changes from previous
5xx and REx 61x relays has been shortened. version
- If a data block was lost due to communication disturbance during
the uploading of a REX 521 disturbance recording by the SPA file
transfer, this previously cancelled the whole uploading process.
Now the uploading is attempted to be restarted from the breaking
point after a 10 s time-out.
- If the SPA password of the relay is not the default one, the user is
asked to submit the password when e.g. downloading param-
eters. Previously it was not possible to enter a SPA password
containing the number 0 (e.g. 40) into the password dialog.
