1. Identify the departmentalization pattern/s it uses.


Departmentalization that it use is Geographical Departmentalization because the
chart arrangement was made by higher positions to lower positions.
2. Why do you think the company selected this type of departmentalization?
This company choose this departmentalization, because this structure fulfills the
organization needs, and with this arrangement it helps to easily know that every
person has a different skills.
3. Would you use it if you have your own company? Why/Why not?
If I have my own company will use this Departmentalization, small organizations
can benefit at geographical departmentalization, and this departmentalization has
a lot of advantages. This will help companies improve their organizations.

EVALUATION
1. Explain (in less than 5 sentences) the significance of this statement:
“Organizational design should be done in contingency fashion.”
This means that organizational design should be organized in order to be ready
at every situations. For being able to generalize knowledge it must prioritize
adaptability over a more rigid and functional strategy. In contrast, a company
in a mature market with limited variability and uncertainty should pursue
more structure. A plan should be done successfully and accomplish a specific
goals
2. Can the refreezing stage of planned change ever be satisfied in today’s
dynamic organizational environments? Justify your answer.
Yes refreezing stage of planning can satisfy today’s dynamic organizational
environments. If the change has been successful, the revised ways of thinking,
behaving, and performing should become routine. The new mindset of the
change begins to become the standard, and people’s comfort levels return to
normal.
