Frostjet ™
Frostjet is an easily installed, hot fluid windshield cleaning
system for cars, trucks, and SUV's that significantly increases
vehicle driver visibility in all weather conditions.
In winter driving conditions, the Frostjet operates with existing

vehicle washer and wiper systems to remove frost, slush, snow,
and freezing rain.
For warmer weather climates, Frostjet enhances the efficiency

of windshield washer and wiper systems by removing buildup
of insects, oil, tar, film, or road dust and debris.
50 amp unit recommended for pickup truck with gas engine.
90 amp unit recommended for diesel pickup, school bus, and

heavy-duty chassis.

LT Spreader Control
LT Spreader Control
The LT Spreader Control system has been designed to increase
material spreading efficiency and allow for hydraulic spreader
control valve installation outside of the cab.
When in the automatic mode, the LT Spreader Control varies

the speed of the conveyor in proportion to ground speed to
maintain a uniform application rate of material on the road.
Spreading automatically starts when the vehicle begins to move
and automatically stops when the vehicle stops.
The LT Spreader Control system consists of three components:

• Control console
• Ground speed sensor
• Valve
The console is installed in the cab and connected to the vehicle

battery, hydraulic PWM spreader valve, and a ground speed
sensor.

ICS2000 Control System

ICS2000 systems include a console that must be programmed
according to the system application.
Console programming varies depending on:

• Speed input type
• Hydraulic valve type
• Application rate sensor
• Units of measurement
• Language
The console program part number MUST be supplied when

ordering an ISC2000 system to ensure the correct console is
ordered for the system application.
ICS2000 Control Systems are used for various truck chassis,

spreaders, and hydraulic systems. Kits can vary depending on
length of cables required for application rate sensors, extension
cables, speed sensors, and hydraulic valve type used. Some kits
do not include an application rate sensor, ground speed sensor,
or White Sensor Motor adapter cable.
The below table provides typical U.S. console programming part

numbers. If other console programming numbers are required,
call DICKEY-john Sales and Service for assistance.

Dual Drop On Actuator Valves convert manual valves (Danfoss
2FF Series and Gresen QD Series valves) to electrical-actuated
valves. Conversions are accomplished by removing the exist-
ing knobs and installing the actuator over existing needle
valve stems. This actuator provides an economical means of
retrofitting a ground speed controller into an existing fleet.
Commonly used with the ICS2000 family.
The Drop On Actuator is not compatible with the Danfoss or

Gresen Valve Load Sense versions.

Multi-Function Joysticks control all hydraulic plow functions in
one system when the truck ignition key is enabled. The joystick
provides multi-axis proportional control for up to four indepen-
dent hydraulic functions:

A retractable joystick can be secured underneath the armrest

maximizing operator comfort when not in use.
The joystick is equipped with a safety trigger to initiate move-

The PVC3000 central hydraulic package consists of a base
manifold for control of the spreader, spinner, and liquid
application that accommodates add-on valve sections for plow
and hoist control. The end package can be used with fixed dis-
placement or load sense hydraulic systems.
