He would tell officers that his left shoulder had been injured in an incident that had occurred as he manned a security gate, just outside the Jubilee area of the Festival venue. The victim would advise that he had been struck by a gate fence that had been pushed by a subject fleeing another security officer. The victim would not be able to identify a suspect, nor would he be able to state that the subject had intended to injure him. ‘The victims information would be obtained and a report opened for information purposes only. He advised the following; ‘On this date at approximately 10:15pm, he was manning a security gate along the west side of the Jubilee stage area, adjacent to a dirt roadway. ‘The gate was used by vendors at the site. IM stated that he had just opened the gate to allow several vendor vehicles to enter the festival grounds, when he heard another security officer yell for him to close the gate. As he attempted to close the gate. INN observed a male subject, 20 -30 years old, running towards the gate. [NMI stated that he closed the gate too late and the male subject crashed into the gate, knocking it backwards and into the victim. MM stated that the force of the gate striking him was sufficient enough to cause him to fall backwards, landing hard on his left shoulder HERES stated that the next thing he recalled was lying on the ground crying and writhing in pain, HEREEEEE ©2s clear that he never really saw the male subject, because the gate was covered in a green material ‘He was told of the suspect description only because several people had observed the incident. The told him the male subject was wearing a blue tank top and shorts of an unknown color. The witnesses provided no further description. HEE &
