 Seven C’s of communication:

There are 7 C’s of effective communication which are applicable to both written as
well as oral communication. These are as follows:

1-Clear

2- Concise

3-Complete

4-Concrete

5- Consideration

6- Courteous

7- Correct

1. Clear:
This letter is written in precise way. The words and sentences are grammatically
correct, clear in sense and short in length that help the audience to understand the
information in letter easily.

2. Concise:
The concise and to the point message is given by Sally Kate about COVID-19 and
give to the point information about the disease there is no repetitions of words in the
letter. The sentences are short in length which provides essential message to the
audience.

For Example: Where it spread, Prevention all are briefly defined in an ordered way.

3. Complete:
In the letter, all the important information is provided which gives complete
information about COVID-19 and it’s safety measures. But some information is
missing.

For Example: Symptoms of virus is not mentioned in this Letter.

4. Concrete:
In the letter, concrete message is given by the Sally Kate about COVID-19. There is a
use of specific words, facts and figures.

5. Consideration:
In the letter, Consideration is implemented and much information is conveyed by
using charts, pictures and polite language which help the reader to understand the
purpose of this letter.

6. Courteous:
In the letter, courteous is applied. Here are use of some expressions that show respect.
The author aware with the objectives of report and feelings of the audience.

7. Correct:
The message in the letter is exact, correct and well-timed. The amount of information
is provided in it is accurate/correct because this Letter is issued by an Soft tech
Solution which is an authentic source of information and it is also mentioned in the
Letter.

 Traits of technical writing


Technical writing is any form of writing or drafting technical communication used in a
variety of fields .Technical writing is performed by a technical writer and is the
process of writing and sharing information in a professional setting It is basically a
way to communicate with someone or multiple people in the most simple way
possible.

1. Clarity:
In the given sample of letter clarity is achieved by the use of transitions words, active
voice, easy and familiar vocabulary and it does not contain personal introduction and
passive voice.

2. Conciseness:
In the given letter the writer use less words without compromising on meaning and
objective. In this letter, conciseness is achieved by used of positive writing, proper
paragraphs, no doubled meaning words, no redundant words and no propositional
phrases.

3. Accessible document Design:


The letter is accessible because it has clear format, use of white spaces, use of bold
and italics to highlight some point, different level of headings and the report is not
overcrowded.

4. Audience recognition:
In this letter, writer recognize the audience. Then he use the language and information
according to the intelligence and understanding level of audience.

5. Accuracy:
Accuracy is implemented in the given letter. There is a use of proper format and line
spacing. There is no grammatical and spelling mistakes. The length of sentences and
paragraph is moderate.
