Once existence sometimes can be noticed nor be ignored. That is how statistics
feel seems like, at least for me. We have been doing many activities, but we overlooked
the principle of the subject and applied it daily. We tend not to notice, but it's been part
of our daily lives.

What is statistics is all about? When we say statistics, it is the practice or science
of collecting and analyzing numerical data in large quantities, especially to infer
proportions in a whole from those in a representative sample. The principle of statistics
helps us use the proper methods to collect the data, employ the correct analyses, and
effectively present the results. It is a crucial process behind making discoveries in
science, making decisions based on data, and making predictions. Let me site some
significant examples to understand more how it works in the real world. 

 
There is an essential role of statistics in government. It is utilized by making
judgments about health, populations, education, and much more. Like in terms of our
current situation, in terms of health, it may help the government check which vaccine is
assertive for the coronavirus for the people. What are the cumulative reports after
vaccination, whether the vaccines are helpful or not? For instance, the government can
analyze which areas vaccination is already done and locate where the following location
need to target, or where cases are increasing day by day with the help of polls. The
governments are using statistical data to vaccinate the people. As per the data, It can
also monitor the availability of vaccines. 

In terms of research, statistics is inevitably necessary as it plays an essential role

in every researcher's work. The use of statistics in research can lead researchers to
summarization, proper characterization, performance, and description of the research
outcome. Besides, it would be less effective without the result of the research that will
help recognize which drugs or interventions are effective and how people respond to the
vaccine. The medical researcher also conducts studies by age, race, or country to
identify the effect of the features on one's health. For example, medical researchers use
statistics to evaluate which country did the most coronavirus test and how many people
were affected by a coronavirus. 

 
 There is also a lot of uses of statistics in sports. Every sport requires statistics to
make the sport more effective. Statistics help the player to get an idea about their
performance in the particular sports. Nowadays, sports are utilizing the statistics data to
the next level. There are various types of equipment in sports used to collect data on
various factors. That equipment help to get a conclusion from the data they gather. For
example, the Tokyo Olympics were postponed due to the existence of coronavirus. The
principle of statistics helps in understanding that most Japanese were affected in the
planned Olympics duration. In conclusion, they were able to postpone it and reschedule
for July 2021.

There is still a lot of example on how the statistics work in real worlds. We may
be aware of them and uses statistics in our daily lives. Statistics will nourish our
everyday life and helping us to make more effective decisions and conclusions.
