Notes:

A Guardian Angels Training Book was created in 2002 as a prototype for the Official
Guardian Angels Training Book. All unofficial versions are not recognized and
authorized by the Guardian Angels and should be replaced with the Official Guardian
Angels Training Book.

The Official Guardian Angels Training Book was created in 2003. It was not distributed
until June 2004 as Version 1.0. It was then modified in December 2004 as Version 1.1.
The only change in Version 1.1 was deletions to the Self-Defense Manual. All other
manuals from Version 1.0 are not changed except for some page renumbering and
several additional lines of text. In March 2005, Version 1.2 was created in which the
entire Self-Defense Manual was eliminated. We do not endorse any official self-
defense tactic, but rather each chapter should provide supplemental self-defense
training on their own. An addition was also made to page 3 of the Use of Force Manual:
4.0 Use of Force and Training. Anyone with any earlier version should remove the Self-
Defense Manual of their Training Books.

This book may be reproduced only by Guardian Angels for official Guardian Angels
business. All other reproductions for the public require the authorization of Curtis Sliwa.
