“Tatay, let all the Filipino be your anak”

A Position Paper

Many Filipinos now are debating for having a worst government. Do we really have worst government?
Or a worst citizen. I do realize that this country doesn't have a worst citizen but a worst politicians, a worst
government for being incompetent to handle this pandemic well (Coronavirus Disease or Covid-19). Yes, there
are some Filipinos that are too demanding and this is because at the first place, Filipinos are demanding for a total
ban for Chinese flights yet there are some airlines that are just reducing the number of flights and still being
operated to transport these persons from the mainland of Hong Kong , China and Macau and they can be subject
to quarantine procedures upon arrival, this means that Filipino citizens and holders of permanent resident visas
can still fly directly from China, Hong Kong and Macau going back to the Philippines, and outbound flights,
Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau nationals can fly back home, since they are not subject to the travel-ban directive.
(CNN Philippines). Again, this is not a discrimination and not a selfish way of facing this Covid-19 but as a
president and a "tatay" of all Filipino, it is his duty to protect us and this country.

And now Philippines are not just facing this pandemic Covid-19 but also hunger and poverty due to the
nationwide lockdown, Filipino are not against to this lockdown since we all know that it is one of the solution to
decrease the number of cases of Covid-19 here in Philippines. To the politicians, to our government, let us not
forget those homeless people. They also need us, citizens are making noise because we didn't know the real
number of positive case of Covid-19 in Philippines since the test kits are limited and almost all of the people in
our government are the first who got tested. We, the citizens saw this as a privilege to the rich and to the
government officials. Let's not be selfish, testing kits are not only for the rich and named persons, let the favoritism
of you “tatay” do away with. You are chosen to be our President that's why be the President with care and love
for the Filipino, not the one who always make fun of every worst thing happened in our country.

Tatay Digong, let all the Filipinos be your anak, there are now 803 cases of Covid-19 and 54 deaths
according to World Health Organization, every one of us must be protected, let the rich be safe, let the government
officials be safe, let the homeless be safe, let the poor be safe, let the workers be safe, let the doctors be safe, let
the frontliners be safe, let the soldiers and policeman be safe, let the mass be safe and you our President be safe.
Just a daily reminder we are washing our hands and staying in our home for 24hrs a day so be the one you all
promised to be the day before Filipino voted you.
