ASSESSMENT
Directions: Write you answers on the space provided.
1. Considering the challenge brought about by the pandemic, how can active
participation in the liturgy be achieved? 5 pts.

As a protocol from our government, all classes and masses had canceled
to keep everyone safe. We were told to stay at our home to prevent the disease
from spreading. We cannot deny the circumstances that the current COVID-19
pandemic is a major challenge for many religious denominations. With all these,
we do still have our choice so we can still participate in the liturgy. Although we
cannot go to the church, we can stay at home and does the same thing. There is a
program every Sunday. That gives us a virtual mass where anyone in their home
can actively participate. All we need is to associate in our hearts with every Holy
word said that it says and apply it in our lives. Every religious leadership made
their action and decision-making on how inclusiveness can be applied with all
these changes brought by this new normal to us. Aside from that, we can read
scriptures that we can access to online catalogs (if we don’t have any).

2. Cite 3 concrete ways on how to actively participate in the liturgy. Present it in a

form of commitment statement. End your commitment statement with a short
prayer. 5pts

I commit myself to actively participate in the liturgy by:

 Lending my ears to listen carefully to every word it says

 Never allowing any distraction to come in my way during the whole
duration of the mass
 Wholeheartedly appreciate his words and love for all of us

In the name of the Almighty and Heavenly Father,

I am here today to worship and adore you. Your love for us is so great. You
extend a warm welcome to those who come to see You. You are undoubtedly a good
God, and you are worthy of all the respect and praise. God, grant me a perfect sorrow
for all of my sins. I apologies profusely for all of my transgressions. Help me to
cleanse the stains of my sins, oh God. I thank You for having us created. You taught
me to live with gratitude and contentment. You taught me how to love
unconditionally. I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Give those people who lost their
way an eye to see the beauty of life. And an ear to listen to your words. I had
experienced the beauty of life because of you, Our Lord. We wouldn't be here today
if it weren't for you. I surrender to you my whole being and use the soul that You had
given me to be an agent of peace of this in this chaotic world. These are all I pray, in
the mighty name of Jesus, Our God. Amen.
