2 Meat, fish and seafood


Tomate - tomato
Cebola - onion Meat can have the same name as the animal it comes from, e.g. ‘chicken’, ‘turkey’, ‘duck’, and ‘lamb’.
Abobrinha - zucchini
Pimentão - pepper However, the names are often different. Match each meat on the left with the animal it comes from:
Salsinha - parsly
Cebolinha - scallion or green onions
Abóbora / moranga - pumpkin

Brócolis - brocolli
