these range from non-projected media form which the teachers can choose, depending on what he sees fit
with the intended instructional setting.
There are countless reasons why technology is a one of key aspects of learning in the schools
especially in this time of covid-19 pandemic. Whether we like it or not, technology is everywhere and in order
for the students to survive in education and in this world, they must engage themselves in technology.

Importance of Technology in Education:

1. Technology has now become part of the community lifestyle.
2. Technology is a necessity for a learning environment.
3. Technology in the classroom has become the easiest way for students to learn. Young learners know
technology better than adults. Engaging the technology in the classroom has not only helped students to
learn better but also acquire multi-tasking skills.
4. Technology integration allow students to learn on their own pace. With the integration of the technology,
students may slow down and go back over lessons and concepts.
5. Technology is broad, having access to other information outside the book give students various ways to
keep them engage. Schools throughout the nation are divers in income, and often students don’t have always
the resources they need. The implementation of technology in schools help close that gap.
6. Technology has the ability to enhance relationships between teachers and students.
7. Technology offers multitude of resources. Desktop computers, laptop, tablets, phones and
other forms bring multiple resources for the teacher that is not on the book. They keep students engaged
with exciting features and apps but also have other ways to teach students materials. Every student learns
differently, and technology helps with this gap as well.
8. Technology keeps kids engaged. The students of this generation are considered technological learners.
They learn best being more interactive using the technology.
With technology, educators, students and parents have a variety of learning tools at their fingertips.
Here are some of the ways in which technology improves education over time:
Teachers can collaborate to share their ideas and resources online: They can communicate
with others across the world in an instant, meet the shortcomings of their work, refine it and provide their
students with the best. This approach definitely enhances the practice of teaching.
Students can develop valuable research skills at a young age: Technology gives students
immediate access to an abundance of quality information which leads to learning at much quicker rates than
before.
Students and teachers have access to an expanse of material: There are plenty of resourceful,
credible websites available on the Internet that both teachers and students can utilize. The Internet also
provides a variety of knowledge and doesn’t limit students to one person’s opinion.
Online learning is now an equally credible option: Face-to-face interaction is huge, especially in
theyounger years, but some students work better when they can go at their own pace. Online education is
now accredited and has changed the way we view education.
