Case Study – Maximum Megahertz
1. What is the problem that Olaf is trying to solve?
The main problem which Olaf faced is how the different risks can be determined which
are faced by the company and what steps he must initiate to Maximum Megahertz
Project and other future projects. The issue is that the lessons are not being learned by
the project managers from their mistakes and they repeat it again and again.

meetings must be conducted to evaluate the situation. All the stakeholders must be

 The method of better ways of project closure will help to manage the project
effectively. The team must be directed to understand the various issues in the project
and learn a lesson from these mistakes and issues.

 4. What is your recommended plan of action for both the short-term and long-term? For
short term?
Regular meeting and project evaluation must be performed to get the real picture of the
project. A database must be developed by the team from the past projects so that they
can control the various elements of the project within control. The team must try to
learn from past mistakes. A status report must be prepared by Olaf to have a clear
picture of the project. The work efficiency and accomplishment of the project work
must be estimated and determined by the project team. The rectification in the different
activities should be done by matching all the parameters against the budget parameters.
