This document contains overview of how Hire to Retire Process works and
Tracks Progress in Oracle Applications.

Hire an Employee
1. Log-in to Oracle Fusion and Click on My Client Groups

2. Under Quick Actions, Click on Hire an Employee


3. Check the boxes for the information you want to manage for the employee.

4. Click on ‘Continue’.
5. Select the Hiring date of employee.

6. Select the Legal unit of the enterprise for which we are hiring the employee.
7. Select Hire as the way to hire an employee

8. Select the reason for which you are hiring an employee and click on continue.
9. Under Personal Details, Enter the last name and first name of the employee.

10. Select the Country, National ID type ( For example: AADHAAR Card) and mention the ID number.
11. Under Communication Info, Select the type of email (For example – Home, Work), Mention the Email
Address and from date.

12. Under Citizenship Info, select the citizenship (For example – Indian) Then mention the status( Active
or Inactive) and From Date.
13. Under Employment Details, Select the Assignment Status as Active – Payroll, person type as
Employee and select the business unit where the employee will be working.

14. Select the Position of the Employee.


15. Assign manager and press continue.

16.Select I-9 Status as Verified and E-Verify Status Employee Authorized.


17. Under Payroll Details, Select Overtime period as ‘FLSA Weekly’, and Time Card Required As ‘Yes’

18. Under Salary Select Salary Basis and Mention the Salary Amount.
19.After Filling all this Information, Click on Submit to complete hiring of an employee.

Change Working Hours

1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Change Working Hours.


2. Select the employee for which you want to change the working hours.

3. Check the boxes if you want to manage any Information and click on Continue to move to the next
page.
4. Select the date when the working hours change should start, the way to change the working hours
and the reason for the change and press ‘Continue’.

5. Select the Salary type as hourly or salaried.


6. Click on Submit to change the working hours.

Change Assignment
1. Under Quick Actions, click on Change Assigment.

2. Select the Employee for which you want to change the Assignment.
3.Select the date from which you want to change the assignment, Select the way of changing the
assignment, Select the reason for the change of assignment.

4. Select the Department, reporting establishment and location for the new assignment.

5. Select the Reporting Manager and click on submit.


Change Manager

1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Change Manager.


2. Select the Employee for the which you want to change the manager.

3. Select the date for the change of manager, the way to change the manager and select the reason for
changing the manager.
4. Select the manager and click on submit.

Promote
1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Promote.
2. Select the Employee whom you want to promote.

3. Select the date when you want to the promotion to start, The way to promote and select the reason
for promoting.
4. Select the job, Business Title and Grade.

5. Click on Submit to finish the process.


Person
1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Person.

2. Select the employee


3. Click on Create from Existing Person.

4. Enter the details like friend type, date and emergency contact.
5. Select the person with whom you have personal relation and click ok.

6. Click on Save and then click on Submit to finish the process.


Personal Details
1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Personal Details.

2. Select the employee for which you want to see the personal details.
3. Here you can see the personal details of the employee.

Employment Contracts
1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Employment Contracts.
2. Select the Employee.

3. Unfortunately we cannot manage the contracts in this business unit but from here you can manage
the contract.
Identification Info
1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Identification Info.

2. Select the employee


3. Here you can see the Identification info and also you can add the information by clicking on ‘Add’
Compensation
Change Salary

1. Under Quick Actions, Click on Show More.

2. Scroll down to ‘Compensation’ and Click on ‘Change Salary’.


3. Select the employee.

4. Select the date from when the salary change should start, Select the action as change negative and
select the reason for changing the salary.
5. Enter the Adjustment Amount.

6. Click on Continue.
7. Click on Submit.

View Total Compensation Statement


1. Under Quick Actions > Compensation > View Generated Statements.
2. Select the employee.

3. Currently There are no statements, but you can see the compensation statements here.
Individual Compensation
1. Under Quick Actions > Compensation > Individual Compensation.

2. Select the Employee.


3. Select the Date of start.

4. If you want to add any compensation, click on ‘Add’


5. Select the Plan and Option

6. Enter the compensation amount and press ok.


7. Click on submit to finish the process.

View Compensation History


1. Under Quick Actions > Compensation > View Compensation History.
2. Select the employee

3. Here you see the compensation history.


Absence
Absence Cases
1. Under Quick Actions > Absence > Absence Cases.

2. Select the employee.


3. Click on ‘Create’ to create a absence case.

4. Enter the Name.


5. Click on ‘Submit’ and Click ‘Yes’.

Absence Records
1. Under Quick Actions > Absence > Absence Records.
2. Select the Employee.

3. Here you can view and manage the absence records of particular employee.
Work Schedule Assignment
1. Under Quick Actions > Absence > Work Schedule Assignment.

2. Select the employee


3. The data is in approval but from here you can change the work schedule Assignments.

Payroll
Element Entries
1. Under Quick Actions > Payroll > Element Entries.
2. Select the employee.

3. Click on Plus Sign to create new entry.


4. Select the date and the element name then press ‘continue’.

5. Click on save and then submit


6. You can see the new element is now showing in the element entries.

Payroll Relationships
1. Under Quick Actions > Payroll > Payroll Relationships.
2. Select the employee.

3. Here you can see the payroll relationship of the employee.


Personal Payment Method
1. Under Quick Actions > Payroll > Personal Payment Method.

2. Select the employee


3. Click on ‘Add’ to add the bank account.

4. Enter the account number, select the savings type and enter routing number then click on save.
5. Click on ‘Add’ To add the payment mehtod

6. Enter the name of the payment and the start date then click on ‘Save’.
Payslips
1. Under Quick Actions > Payroll >Payslips.

2. select the employee.


3. here you will see the details about payslips of the employee.
