Family Day Message

A very good morning to all our students, parents, teachers and personnel. A very warm
welcome to our NDDU-IBED Family day!!

As the saying goes -- “Love begins at home, in the family and it is not how much we do…but
how much love we put in to what we do”.

Family Day reminds us all to focus our thoughts, energies and time to those closest to us—the
members of our own families. Throughout our busy lives filled with learning, teaching and
working, it is easy to allow ourselves to lose sight of what should always be most important—
our children, parents, spouses, siblings and other loved ones. It is also easy to lose sight of the
important role we play within the family of God—in our own parish families. Family Day gives
us an opportunity to reconnect with our families: to re-energize, refocus and share some
quality time together.

We don't choose our family. They are God's gift to us and it is the coming together that
strengthens the bond of family and reminds us of the gift of belongingness.

Remember, Patience with Children is love, Patience with Family is trust,

Patience with others is respect, Patience with oneself is confidence
and most important of all, Patience with GOD is faith.

The Notre Dame of Dadiangas University -IBED Lagao family—our students, parents, staff and
trustees— have enjoyed many successes during the school year, thanks to your continued
dedication to Catholic education and the well being of the students who are entrusted to our
care.

On behalf of the PTAA Council of the the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University -IBED Lagao , we
wish all of you and the members of your families a happy, memorable and safe Family Day.
