Notice to the Travelers Visiting Nepal

L All passengers visiting Nepal are required to have a negative RT-PCR or equivalent test report (Gene
Xpert/True NAAT) issued by a registered lab with photo-identification, Barcode/QR Code and within 72
hours (from the time of swab collection). The format of the report may be obtained from the Nepali Missions
in the country of departure. Minors of age below 5 years are exempted from such test report.
2. Allpassengers must carry with them the printed receipt with barcode obtained after filling up an online form
of Abroad Returnee Management System (ARMS). The form can be obtained at the link: www.ccmc.gov.np.
3. All passengers travelling to Nepal are required to furnish evidence of seven-day hotel booking for quarantine
at their own cost in the hotels listed by the Department of Tourism/CCMC. The list of the approved hotels is
available at the link:
DOT-8june-l.pdf. The passengers staying in hotel quarantine are required to take.a PCR test on the 7s day of
their arrival and if the result is negative, they must continue the quarantine at home for four more days under
the monitoring of the concerned local authorities.
4. However, the following passengers are required to stay in self/home quarantine for 10 days upon arrival:
i. Passengers with a complete Covid-l9 vaccination certificate. Passengers' compliance with the
quarantine is
subject to monitoring and reporting to CCMC by District COVID-l9 Crisis
Management Centre (DCCMC) and the local levels.
ii. Passengers travelling for emergency purposes (e.g., to attend a funeral) with a recommendation from
the concemed local levels or DCCMC and a negative antigen test upon arrival.
iii. Incapacitated persons, chronic patients as well as their accompanying attendants (maximum two),
persons with disabilities with a recommendation from the concemed hospital and a negative antigen
test upon arrival.
iv, Senior citizens above 70 years, children under 5 years and their guardians with a negative antigen test
upon arrival.
v. Diplomats, employees of international agencies and their family members with the recommendation
of the concerned local inissiorVagency.
vi. Government employees and security personnel retuming home upon the completion of the official
duty abroad.
vii. Nepali citizens rescued from human trafficking or those stranded abroad and the individuals or the
volunteers involved in such rescue operations.
viii. Nepali citizens retuming home owing to the deportation/release from jails abroad are required to stay
in the hotel quarantine as arranged by the Govemment of Nepal at the recommendation of the
relevant Nepali Mission abroad.
5. Passengers' compliance with the quarantine is subject to monitoring by CCMC, DCCMC and the local
authorities.
6. The passengers staying in self/home quarantine are required to do RT-PCR Test on the 1lft day of their
arrival.
7. Nepal Airlines (Nepal), Himalaya Airlines (Nepal), Air India (India), Qatar Airways (Qatar), Jazeera
Airways (Kuwait), Turkey Airlines (Turkey), Fly Dubai (UAE), Air Arabia (UAE), Salam (Oman), Malindo
Air (Malaysia) have been currently operating international flights from/to Nepal.
8. All the land entry points to Nepal have been closed for the foreigners.
