STATE STATUS / RESTRICTION


1. Passengers are not allowed to enter.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates;
- passengers with a residence permit issued by Bahrain;
- passengers with an e-visa obtained before departure;
- passengers who can obtain a visa on arrival;
- military personnel.

2. Passengers are not allowed to enter if in the past 14 days they have been in or
transited through Bangladesh, Dominican Rep., India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq,
Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Pakistan,
Panama, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Uganda, Viet Nam or
Zimbabwe;
- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Bahrain
BAHRAIN
- passengers with a residence permit issued by Bahrain.

3. Nationals of Bahrain and passengers with a residence permit issued by Bahrain,


who in the past 14 days have been in or transited through Bangladesh, Dominican
Rep., India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Mozambique,
Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka,
Tunisia, Uganda, Viet Nam or Zimbabwe must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test
taken at most 48 hours before departure. The test result must have a QR code.

4. Passengers who in the past 14 days have not been in or transited through
Bangladesh, Dominican Rep., India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Mexico,
Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama,
Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Uganda, Viet Nam or Zimbabwe,
must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before
departure. The test result must have a QR code

- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate


showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival.

5. Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival;


- This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 6 years;
- nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates,
who are older than 17 years, with:
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at
least 14 days before arrival; or
- a COVID-19 recovery certificate;
- nationals of nationals of Cyprus, Greece, Hungary and Israel who are older
than 17 years, with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were
fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival;

6. Passengers could be subject to quarantine for 10 days.


- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate
showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. The
vaccination certificate must be issued in: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium,
Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France,
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Kuwait,
Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman,
Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain,
Sweden, USA, United Arab Emirates or the United Kingdom.

7. Flights from Addis Ababa (ABB) and Baku (BAK) are suspended.
- This does not apply to humanitarian, medevac and repatriation flights.

8. Flights from Iraq, Lebanon and Syria are suspended.


- This does not apply to humanitarian, medevac and repatriation flights.

9. Visa on arrival facility restarted.


- This does not apply to passengers with a residence permit issued by Kuwait,
Oman, Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates.

10. Border crossing on the causeway is suspended.


1. Flights to Egypt restarted.
Egypt 2. Passengers must present a completed "Public Health Card" upon arrival.

3. Passengers arriving from Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China
(People's Rep.), Colombia, Ecuador, France (Paris), Germany (Frankfurt), Guyana, Italy
(Rome), Japan, Korea (Rep.), Mexico, New-Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname,
Thailand, USA, United Kingdom (London Heathrow), Uruguay or Venezuela must have a
printed negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 96 hours before departure of the
last direct flight to Egypt. The test must be based on a nasal or oral swab. The test
result must have a stamp of the issuing laboratory or a QR code.
These considerations do not apply to:
- passengers younger than 6 years;
- passengers arriving directly at Hurghada (HRG), Marsa Alam (RMF), Sharm El
Sheikh (SSH), Luxor or Taba (TCP);
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully
vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca
(Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V.
The certificate must have a QR code.

4. For countries that is not listed above, a negative test result (with the same
forementioned authentication requirements should be provided 72 hours before
departure of their direct flight to Egypt).

5. Passengers arriving from a country other than Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil,
Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China (People's Rep.), Colombia, Ecuador, France (Paris),
Germany (Frankfurt), Guyana, Italy (Rome), Japan, Korea (Rep.), Mexico, New-Zealand,
Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Thailand, USA, United Kingdom (London Heathrow),
Uruguay or Venezuela must have a printed negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at
most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Egypt. The test must be
based on a nasal or oral swab. The test result must have a stamp of the issuing
laboratory or a QR code.
This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 6 years;

6. Passengers arriving from Cameroon must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken
at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Egypt. The test must be
based on a nasal or oral swab. The test result must have a stamp of the issuing
laboratory or a QR code.
This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 6 years;

- passengers arriving directly at Hurghada (HRG), Marsa Alam (RMF), Sharm El


Sheikh (SSH) , Luxor or Taba (TCP);
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully
vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca
(Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V.
The certificate must have a QR code.

7. Passengers arriving directly at Hurghada (HRG), Marsa Alam (RMF), Sharm El Sheikh
(SSH) , Luxor or Taba (TCP) without a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test result are
subject to a PCR test on arrival at their own expense.
- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that
they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. Vaccines accepted are:
AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac or
Sputnik V. The certificate must have a QR code.

8. Passengers arriving from Argentina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile,
Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, India,
Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Sri Lanka,
Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela or Viet Nam are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon
arrival and could be subject to quarantine.

9. Passengers entering Egypt are not subjected to Quarantine measures, as long as they
do not show signs and symptoms suggestive of COVID-19.

10. Travelers who have received their full vaccination dosages in Egypt, and wish to obtain
an authentication of their vaccination status, should follow the following steps:

- Step 1: receive two doses of the vaccine from any MOHP vaccination site.
- Step 2: Stamp the vaccination card (Annex 2) at their respective vaccination site
- Step 3: Authenticate their vaccination card at the MOHP Authentication Unit for
Certification of Signatures and Seals, location:

- Step 4: A second authentication stamp of the vaccination card is required from the
Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs around 120 Egyptian Pounds.

1. All airports within Tehran FIR available for passenger operations.

2. Suspension of visa on arrival facilities for passengers traveling as tourists.


Iran
3. E-visas can be obtained before departure at http://e_visa.mfa.ir/en/ . Passengers must
have an e-visa confirmation.

4. Passengers who in the past 14 days have been in or transited for more than 4 hours
through Botswana, Brazil, Eswatini, India, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, South
Africa, Uruguay, Zambia or Zimbabwe are not allowed to enter.

5. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result taken at most 96 hours
before departure from the first embarkation point. The test result must be in English or
approved by an Iranian consulate.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 8 years;
- passengers arriving from or who have transited through Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hungary, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands,
Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain or Sweden with a COVID-19
vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days before
arrival;

6. Passengers arriving from Argentina, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica,
Ecuador, Egypt, Lithuania, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Namibia, Paraguay, Peru,
Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago or Tunisia are subject
to COVID-19 test upon arrival and quarantine at their own expense.
- This does not apply to passengers arriving from or who have transited through
Lithuania with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully
vaccinated at least 15 days before arrival.

7. Passengers who have transited for more than 4 hours through Argentina, Bolivia, Cape
Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Lithuania, Malaysia, Maldives,
Mongolia, Namibia, Paraguay, Peru, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania,
Trinidad and Tobago or Tunisia are subject to COVID-19 test upon arrival and
quarantine at their own expense.

8. Passengers are subject to medical screening; and


- could be subject to COVID-19 test and quarantine

9. Wearing facemasks is mandatory and social distancing is practiced at all times inside
airport facilities.
1. Flights to Iraq restarted.

2. Passengers arriving from India are not allowed to enter Iraq via Baghdad (BGW), Basra
(BSR) or Najaf (NJF).
Iraq
3. Passengers arriving from or who have transited through India are not allowed to enter
Iraq via Erbil (EBL) or Sulaymaniyah (ISU).
- This does not apply to:

- nationals of Iraq;
- passengers with a diplomatic passport.

4. Nationals of India are not allowed to enter Iraq via Baghdad (BGW), Basra (BSR) or Najaf
(NJF).

5. Nationals of Indonesia are not allowed to enter Iraq via Basra (BSR) or Najaf (NJF).

6. Passengers are subject to medical screening and quarantine.

7. Passengers traveling to Baghdad (BGW) must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test
result issued at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The
test result must be in Arabic or English.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 10 years. They will be subject to a
COVID-19 PCR test on arrival.
8. Passengers traveling to Basra (BSR) must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test
taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The test
result must be in Arabic or English.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 10 years.

9. Passengers traveling to Sulaymaniyah (ISU) without a printed negative COVID-19 PCR


test taken at most 48 hours before arrival or a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing
that they were fully vaccinated, are subject to a PCR test upon arrival at their own
expense.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 10 years.

10. Passengers traveling to Najaf (NJF) must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test
taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The test
result must be in English.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 10 years.

11. Passengers traveling to Erbil (EBL) without a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test taken
at most 48 hours before arrival are subject to a PCR test upon arrival at their own
expense.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully
vaccinated;
- passengers younger than 12 years.

12. Passengers traveling to Erbil (EBL) could be subject to quarantine in a hotel for 14 days.

13. Airline crew traveling to Erbil (EBL) or Sulaymaniyah (ISU) are subject to self-isolation in
a hotel until their next flight.

14. The body temperature of all passengers will be checked by thermal camera screening at
the terminal entrance.

15. Passengers must wear masks both in the terminal and on board. Passengers not wearing
masks will be denied both access to the terminals and boarding to protect public health.
Passengers are required to sanitize their hands continuously.

16. A distance of (1) meter should be maintained between passengers at gathering areas
such as check-in, passport control and waiting lounges by following the floor markers
which provide guidance for keeping a safe distance.

17. All the crew members and passengers should wear face masks throughout the flight.
Disinfectants and sanitizers must be available on board to disinfect all the surfaces at the
passenger cabin after touching them It is also necessary to sterilize aircraft seat cushions
and covering the headphones that used during the flight.

1. International scheduled flights are allowed to operate from/to Jordanian airports.

2. Until 31 July 2021, flights from India are suspended.

3. Until 31 July 2021, passengers who in the past 45 days have been in India are not
allowed to enter.
- This does not apply to nationals of Jordan and their spouses and children.

4. Until 31 July 2021, passengers are not allowed to enter if in the past 14 days they
have been in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan or Sri Lanka.
Jordan 5. Passengers are not allowed to transit through Jordan for more than 10 hours.

6. Passengers must complete a "Declaration Form" before departure at


https://www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo . This will generate a QR code which must
be presented before boarding and upon arrival.

7. Passengers must have health insurance valid for the period of intended stay.
This does not apply to:
- nationals of Jordan;
- passengers with a diplomatic or special passport and a diplomatic QR code and
their family members.

8. Passengers entering or transiting through Jordan must have a negative COVID-19


PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation
point. The test result for passengers arriving from Egypt, Iraq or Turkey must be
issued by an approved laboratory, details can be found at
https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/Labs-List.html
This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 5 years;
- passengers with a diplomatic or special passport and their family members;
- passengers traveling to Aqaba (AQJ).

9. Passengers traveling to Aqaba (AQJ) must have:


- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated; or
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received the first dose of
the vaccine at least 21 days before arrival; or
- a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from
the first embarkation point.

10. The vaccination certificate must be in Arabic or English.


- This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years traveling with parents
who have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully
vaccinated.

11. Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival which must be paid
before departure at https://registration.questlabjo.com/ if traveling to Amman
(AMM), or at https://COVID19.biolab.jo if traveling to Aqaba (AQJ). Passengers
must have an electronic receipt with a QR code confirming the payment.
This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 5 years;
- passengers with a diplomatic or special passport and a diplomatic QR code and
their family members;
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by Australia, Austria,
Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei,
Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hungary, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea (Rep.), Kuwait, Latvia,
Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands,
New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russian Fed., Saudi
Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United
Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or USA showing that they were fully vaccinated.
The vaccination certificate must be in Arabic or English.

12. Passengers must complete a "Passenger Health Declaration Form" and a "Locator
Form" and present it before departure.

13. Nationals of Jordan and their spouses and children who in the past 14 days have
been in or transited through India must present a completed indemnity form.
They are subject to quarantine at a hotel for 14 days at their own expense.

14. Nationals of Jordan and their spouses and children who have been outside India
between 14 and 45 days before arrival are subject to self-quarantine for 14 days.

15. Passengers who have been outside Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar,
Pakistan or Sri Lanka for more than 14 days before arrival must present a
completed indemnity form. They are subject to quarantine at a hotel for 14 days
at their own expense.

16. Airline crew must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 72
hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
- This does not apply to airline crew with a round trip flight.

17. Airline crew are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival and quarantine until
the result is ready.

18. Foreign airline crew staying overnight must stay at the designated hotel arranged
by the airlines.

2. Nationals of Israel are not allowed to enter and transit.

3. Flights from India and United Kingdom are suspended.

KUWAIT 4. Passengers are not allowed to enter.


- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Kuwait;
- children, husbands and wives of nationals of Kuwait;
- domestic workers of nationals of Kuwait. They must register online before

5. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours
before departure.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 6 years;
- passengers returning to Kuwait with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued
before departure from Kuwait. They must have been a maximum of 4 days abroad.

6. Passengers are subject to medical screening.

7. Passengers should install "Shlonik" and "Kuwait-Mosafer" applications on their


personal device.

8. Suspension of visa on arrival facilities.

9. Passengers must register online before departure at

10. Passengers are subject to 2 PCR tests at their own expense upon arrival. They
must have a payment confirmation obtained at
https://kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw/home.html before departure.

11. Passengers are subject to quarantine at a hotel or home-quarantine for up to 14


days.

12. Passengers must have a confirmed hotel reservation booked for 7 days at
https://kuwaitmosafer.com/home.html before departure.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate if they received the last vaccine
dose at least 2 weeks before arrival. Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria),
Janssen, Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTec;
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate if they received the first vaccine
dose at least 5 weeks before arrival. Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria),
Janssen, Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTec.
- passengers with a COVID-19 recovery certificate and a vaccination certificate if they
received the first vaccine dose at least 2 weeks before arrival;
- students who are nationals of Kuwait studying abroad with a letter issued by the
Kuwait Cultural Office and a letter issued by the University;
- unaccompanied minors younger than 18 years.

2. Passengers who in the past 14 days have been in India are not allowed to enter.

3. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 96
hours before arrival.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- passengers returning to Lebanon within 1 week;
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were
fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks before departure;
- passengers arriving from Brazil, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi,
Sierra Leone, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or Zambia with a COVID-19
recovery certificate issued at least 90 days before departure.

4. Passengers and airline crew are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival, at
their own expense.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- airline crew staying for a maximum of 48 hours.

5. Passengers and airline crew could be subject to quarantine for 72 hours.

6. Passengers arriving from Brazil, Ethiopia, Gambia, India, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi,
Sierra Leone, United Arab Emirates or United Kingdom, Zambia must have a
reservation confirmation at a designated hotel for 3 nights.
This does not apply to:
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received
at least one vaccine dose at least 2 weeks before departure;
- passengers transiting through Beirut to Syria;
- passengers younger than 18 years;
- passengers returning to Lebanon within 1 week.

7. Passengers transiting through Beirut (BEY) to Syria must have a negative COVID-
19 PCR test result issued at most 96 hours before departure.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 12 years.

8. Wearing facemasks is mandatory and social distancing is practiced inside airport


facilities.

1. Flights to Libya restarted.

2. Passenger shall comply with the following:

a) a sample (PCR) is taken for returnees in the country in which they reside, provided
Libya
that it is negative within 72 hours of the flights.
b) passengers returning from abroad are subject to the thermometer approved at the
entry ports .
c) in the event that there are any symptoms, the concerned person is transferred to
the nearest filtering center to take appropriate measure.

1. Flights to Oman restarted.

2. Passengers are not allowed to enter.


- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Oman;
- passengers with a diplomatic passport traveling on duty;
- passengers with a visa issued by Oman if in the past 14 days they have been in a

accredited by the departure country.

16. Passengers entering Ras Al Khaimah (RKT) must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR

accredited by the departure country.

19. Passengers entering Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) from Afghanistan, Angola,

d'Ivoire, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana,

Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Viet
Nam, Zambia or Zimbabwe are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival.

20. Nationals of United Arab Emirates entering Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) are
subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival.

21. Passengers entering Abu Dhabi (AUH), Al Maktoum (DWC), Dubai (DXB), or Sharjah
(SHJ) could be subject to a COVID-19 PCR test and quarantine.

22. Visa on arrival facilities at Abu Dhabi (AUH) restarted.

23. Expired residence permits issued by the United Arab Emirates that have been extended
until December 2020 are accepted for entry. Passengers must present proof of the
extended validity.

24. Nationals of Korea (Rep.) traveling under the Fast Track program must have an
'Isolation Exemption Certificate'.

25. Passengers are allowed to transit through Abu Dhabi (AUH) for a maximum of 24
hours. Passengers must have a confirmed airside hotel booking if their transit time
exceeds 12 hours.

26. Nationals of Nigeria must have a return ticket, and a hotel booking or proof of
accommodation address for the period of intended stay.
- This does not apply to passengers with a resident visa.

27. Passengers arriving at Sharjah (SHJ) must download the ALHOSN App.

28. Flights from Congo (Dem. Rep.), India, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Viet Nam, Yemen
and Zambia are suspended.

29. Airline crew without a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test result of a test taken at most
72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point are subject to quarantine until
their next flight
1. Flights from/to Yemen aerodromes are suspended due to covid-19 infection prevention.
this restriction does not affect the following flights:
-aircraft in state of emergency
-overflights
-operation related to humanitarian aid, medical and relief flights.
-cargo flights.
Yemen - other safety - related operations.

2. Persons on board except crew shall not be permitted to disembark without


authorization.

3. Crewmembers may disembark but shall undergo strict mandatory quarantine under the
supervision of the state during their rotation/rest period.
