DIRECT ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR TN-MBC & DNC
TO LL.M., PROGRAMME
[Note: The Schedule is extended till 06.09.2021 due to prevailing circumstances]

Applications are invited from eligible MBC & DNC [only candidates from Tamil Nadu
DNC category are eligible to apply] candidates for direct admission to the vacant seat
available for the Academic Year 2021-22 for the LL.M. programmes. Only one Vacant
seat is available in the MBC & DNC category.

Candidates should have appeared in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021.
Admissions will be granted solely on the basis of the CLAT score. The candidates should
apply directly to the Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) through the online
application form (with payment of Rs.500/- towards application processing fee)
available on the website (www.tnnlu.ac.in) which is displayed under the caption
‘Application for MBC & DNC Direct Admissions 2021’ on or before 2.00 p.m. on
06.09.2021. Candidates should fill a formal online application in the following link:

The Merit list will be published on the website of TNNLU on 06.09.2021

Eligibility

1. Three/Five years B.L. or LL.B. or B.L.(Hons.) or LL.B. (Hons.) or its equivalent with
not less than fifty five percent (55%) marks in case of candidates belonging to
Unreserved/Backward Classes (Others) (BC(O))/Backward Classes (Muslim)
 (BC(M))/MBC&DNC - Most Backward Classes & Denotified Communities
/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories, and Fifty percent (50%) marks
in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
2. The applicant should be a candidate who participated in the CLAT-2021.

3. Only the candidates who ranked higher than the CLAT rank indicated against the
following category wise ranking are eligible to apply:

• All Candidates are informed that the User Charges of Rs.77,500/-(Rupees Seventy Seven Thousand Five Hundred
only) shall be collected after the campus reopens in proportion to the remaining Academic Year 2021-2022.
After the list of shortlisted candidates is released, selected candidates should fill a
formal online application and upload the following certificates (scanned original
certificates) and other documents. The link for uploading of documents will be available
on 06.09.2021 in the TNNLU Website.

10. Community Certificate[for those selected on the basis of the reservations]
11. Nativity Certificate [for those selected under Tamil Nadu Resident category]
12. Evidence for ‘Specially Abled Person(SAP)’,if selected under SAP Category
13. Medical Fitness Certificate [recently obtained from a Government Medical
Officer]
