Semester Registration of undergraduates of the below listed faculties and academic semesters for the January - June semester of 2024 will be available
through the online registration portal http://study.sliit.lk/ from 22nd December 2023 onwards.

1.0 Registration

1.1 Special note on eligibility based on progression criteria*

As per the applicable progression criteria, those who are progressing from
a. Year 1 to Year 2 should NOT have more than 12 incomplete credits (incomplete credits include both repeating modules and IC modules)
b. Year 2 to Year 3 should NOT have more than 12 incomplete credits (incomplete credits include both repeating modules and IC modules)
c. Year 3 to Year 4 (SLIIT) should not have more than 02 accumulated failed modules

*Any student who does not meet the progression criteria will be evaluated on his/her performance upon registration and may be called for a meeting
with Student Services before automatic de-registration.

1.3 Registration deadlines

1.4 How to Register
a. Read the entire notice and note the instructions, deadlines and fees
b. Complete the payment as per the given, approved payment methods in section 3.
c. Visit http://study.sliit.lk/
d. Then select “Online Semester Registration-2024” tab which will be active from 22nd December 2023 onwards.
e. Complete all the steps correctly and submit the application.
SLIIT reserves the right to decline or de-register students who have not followed the guidelines given in the notice.

1.5 Special Categories

a. MoE IFSLS recipients
Students registered under MoE IFSLS are required to use http://study.sliit.lk/ to complete the registration by selecting the payment type as “MOHE
Loan”. Registration requests after the deadline will be declined and MoE will be notified.

b. Payments made through Bank Loans

Students who make payments through bank loans from local banks, should obtain a cheque drawn in favour of “Sri Lanka Institute of Information
Technology (Gte.) Ltd” and the cheque has to be deposited to one of SLIIT accounts given in section 2.1.Students must use http://study.sliit.lk/ to
complete the registration.

Note: All bank loan students should apply for the study loans well in advance and must register during the normal registration period. Any delay in
processing must be informed via https://support.sliit.lk>> Semester Registrations during the regular registration period to avoid late processing fees

 as indicated below in section 2.2. Loans processed after the registration period without prior communication (after 20th January 2023) will not be
accepted for the registration of the semester.

c. SLIIT/ LOLC/ OrelIT/ MITEsp/IFS Scholarship recipients
