Part 2:
 Accommodations: Instructional and Testing Supports for Students with
Disabilities –
The module teacher talks about the three aspects of instruction. That would include
content, process, and product. Then it also explores the key elements of different ways
to teach. How you as the teacher can be prepare you students and classroom for
different types of ways to teach. So that all students are learning in a way they can
understand the topics.

 Differentiated Instruction: Maximizing the Learning of All Students –

In this module being able to maximize the learning of student is fundamental to the
type of education the students are receiving. There are three main instructional
components of leaning being content, products and process.

 Progress Monitoring: Reading -

This module was somewhat like the Math version of learning strategies that will
help you asses the student better and help them. Teachers need to learn how to
progress monitoring in reading so that students can be successful. It discusses how
learning to evaluate provides useful feedback about performance to both learners
and teachers.
 MTSS/RTI: Mathematics / Progress Monitoring: Mathematics / RTI (Part 4):
Putting It All Together –
Three modules that I took had to do with Mathematics and the other was about
Reading Strategies. They all offer a fundamental element that supports successful RTI
implementation. Students can understand how to coordinate assessment procedures and
high-quality reading instruction within the RTI approach. Understand the RTI
framework as it applies to mathematics that can be such a heavy subject to learn and
concentrate in. Many students struggle with this subject because of certain disabilities
and educators do their very best to incorporate tier 2 and 3 ways to have a positive
student involvement. Being familiar with several options for implementing RTI for
mathematics in an elementary school setting. So, when being able to identify the
different types of classroom assessments is such a huge support for students. Also
understand how progress monitoring, general outcome measurement (GOM), can
inform instruction. Evaluate student data to make informed instructional decisions

 SOS: Helping Students Become Independent Learners –

This module basically discusses the structure a teachers should have in her classroom.
Since that can help students stay focused and on task by learning how the class is
supposed to function and their behavior should be. The four strategies discussed are
self-monitoring, self-instruction, goal-setting, and self-reinforcement.

Part 3:
Every time I work on a new module, I learn so many different things that I frankly
didn’t know. The modules are very interesting, and I love the fact that we can
select the ones we would like to complete so every module that I have completed I
enjoyed since, I am the one who selected it. I research the module objectives and
find what’s interesting for me to read and it just amazes me all the resources out
there for students. What working with students is about, how to care for and guide
them for a better future. Every student is like a box of surprises that you just never
know what you’re going to come across. The only difference is that they come
with lots of gifts and challenges to face and that’s why we are there to help support
them.
