Description
Are you interested in understanding why venues choose a specific talent or act to play at their particular venue? The
Booking Assistant internship with Sleeping Giant Music will give you a first hand look at what goes on behind the
scenes to get talent booked at various venues across the globe. Interns will be assisting the booking agents with
venue research, client relations, talent relations, talent scheduling, accounting, itineraries and artist management.
Applicants must be strong in verbal and written communication skills, organization, multitasking, and knowledge of
various music genres. Most importantly, applicants must love music! Students must be taking this internship for
school credit.

** Responsibilities:**

● Support the operations team in operations tasks.


● Research various markets for solicitation needs.
● Support marketing teams created content projects.
● Learn to use Excel to create a database for talent agency information.
● Research Sleeping Giant Music artists and compare findings to an internal database and make sure
information is accurate.
● Interface with accounting, finance, and marketing teams to understand roles in depth.
● Observe weekly meetings with the booking team, as time allows.

Qualifications:

● This is an unpaid internship and must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade
school with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
● Must be eligible for school credit and able to provide letter of credit confirmation from sponsor/administrator
upon request.
● Must be 18 years or older.
● Be available to commit to 16 to 20 per week in the Hollywood Home Office.
● Must have the ability to think quickly, creatively.
● Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks.
● Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain exceptional work ethic.
● Must be punctual, organized and detail oriented.
● Strong project management skills.
● Internet savvy, proficient with using the net as a research tool.

● You must have FULL knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and be able to do various
projects unsupervised.
● Ideally pursuing a degree in business management and/or hospitality.
