Title of Activity: Brigada Eskwela 2021

Date: October 19, 2021

Place: Manuel B. Guiñez Sr. National High School, Banaybanay Central Elementary
School, Banaybanay Alternative Learning System, and T. Patricio Elementary School.

Rationale:

The Department of Education (DepEd), in its commitment to ensure that education

must continue amidst the challenges and uncertainties of face-to-face classes brought
by Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), shall formally open School Year (SY)
2021-2022. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11480, the President, upon the
recommendation of the Secretary, has approved SY 2021-2022 to open on September
13, 2021.

The Brigada Eskwela program highlights partnership initiatives that complement the
Department of Education’s efforts to ensure that quality basic education will
continue despite the challenges in adapting the COVID-19 pandemic. The School
Head shall mobilize the school’s partnership focal person to ensure the effective
implementation of Brigada Eskwela Program involving the community and local
stakeholders.

In collaboration of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Poblacion to pledged their

support through this initiative, the importance of the community is recognized in
making schools the best place for learners to acquire values and competencies
needed to contribute to nation-building. Clean classrooms, well-maintained learning
tools, and attractive landscaping inspire students to attend school, study hard and
persevere to achieve their goals.
