IV. Motivation:
Mechanics: “Differentiating Today’s Classroom from Yesterday’s”
A video (1.12 minutes) will be shared to the class regarding the difference between today’s
classroom from that of yesterday’s classroom.

Then the teacher will ask these questions:

o Could you recall a typical classroom setting prior to the pandemic?

o What changes in the traditional classroom setting could you account during this time of
the pandemic?
o What do you think have these changes contributed to the quality of learning among
learners?

1. Statement of Aims:
This afternoon, we will look at some possibilities of learning even outside the classroom, at our very
own pace and time through the magic of Educational Technology fueled by today’s technological
innovations. We will aim to get a good understanding of Online Distance Education as well as its
Communities of Learners. Finally, we will also immerse ourselves with some online resources and
tools that we can use for course development as facilitators of learning.

c. Which part of the lesson will your IM be especially important?

VII. VALUES INTEGRATION

The students will be asked by these questions:

a. As teachers/future teachers, are we still the best visual aid? Why?
b. Since technology has been very efficient in letting the learners comprehend lessons well, do you think
time will come that teachers like us will be replaced by these innovations? Why or why not?

V. EVALUATION
“Because IT can!”
As it has been thoroughly discussed in both synchronous and asynchronous sessions, the use
of educational technology in the classroom is beneficial in making the learners understand
the lesson well. It also helps in making the lives of the teachers easier as some workload can
be automated by these educational technologies. What is your ideal classroom with respect to
the application of educational technologies?

Directions: Give at least 5 educational technologies that you will frequently use in your
classrooms. Specify the specific use of these technologies/software. Use the template provided
and turn in your submission on our portal in google classroom.
