Dear Governor,
My name is Kleanne Abbie Pabilonia, a First Year College currently pursuing a Bachelor
of Science in Civil Engineering. I have always been passionate about this area of knowledge and
would like nothing more than to continue towards higher education at University of Nueva
Caceres. I am writing this letter with reference to your annual Scholarship Program that you offer
to the deserving students. I would like to apply for the Scholarship for my further studies. I
believe my chosen profession will enable me to fulfill all of my desires to help others, to
continuously expand my knowledge base and skills and to travel the world. Throughout my life I
have participated in extracurricular activities including valuable volunteer experiences. I have
striven for academic excellence, always wishing to make the most of my education. I have
always been an Honor student throughout my school and also have been an active participant in
co-curricular activities. I have been able to maintain a grade. As you can see I am a much
focused student. 

I have always seen your program as a great blessing to those who want to achieve greater things
in life, but are unable to continue their studies due to financial constraints. That is why, as one of
those who are in need of financial help, this scholarship will greatly help me to pursue my study
and goals. I understand that you give your scholarships only to the best and brightest students,
which is why I believe that I am going to be a worthy recipient of the assistance offered by your
scholarship program.  I know that you will receive numerous applications for this scholarship. I
am hoping that you will consider my application and allow me to fulfill my dream of being a
Civil Engineer. 

I have attached my transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other requirements for the
application. I appreciate the time and effort on your part to look over my application. I look
forward to hearing from you soon.
