 What is the school’s motivation to join this project.

Our country is well known for the rich cultural heritage that was left to us
by our ancestors. In order to promote it and to show our appreciation and
gratitude towards it,we want to organize workshops and researches
accodingly .We want to motivate students to learn how to protect ,save
and promote the cultural heritage. We strongly believe that this project is a
great way to bring cultures together, and become aware of other cultures
and respect cultural diversities.
Our aim is to encourage students to have interest in other cultures, find
similarities and differences,to accept and tolerate,to understand that
beside being different, all people are equal, and that cultural heritage is a
precious thing that one has to cherish and be proud of.
Aa matter of the utmost importance, they should learn that diversities do not
separate and make a barrier ,but make a strong bond.
 Who will be the key people in charge of running the project in your
school? In case these persons leave their post in the future, who will take
over their role?
The school has a positive surrounding, and the staff are eager to gain new

the Erasmus projects and enhance our knowledge and expertise to a new level.
Teachers that are included in this group are highly experienced ones, that have

The different ethnic and religious diversities in our school encourage the teachers to
promote multicultural life through different common activities which will support
empathy, meeting differences and raising students’ awareness of the importance of the
mutual acceptance. Being a part of a project about multiethnic integration and tolerance
for 4 years, our area of interest is the organisation of multicultural events and we are
finding them a mean of self development, integration and equality.
The local activities in our school regarding intercultural promotion include events such
as mutual prepartion of traditional food both Macedonian and Albanian, drawings of
traditional clothes by sewing a characteristic hemstich, displays of folk instruments
,dances and songs etc.

Regarding our experience with projects on cultural heritage,we had a 4-year

cooperation with another school in our country in Krusevo .It was a big entrepreneurship
project(organized by SEECEL) that included both students and teachers and was of a
great historical value. The collaboration resulted with our published brochure about a
local tradition where our school is located –‘The Ilinden March ,our pride and trail’.
