Executive Summary
The objection of this report is to analyze the organization behavior. In this project, I figured out
I visited an organization named “Sybrid”. Sybrid company is all about managing different
services and businesses across the Pakistan and also in United States of America with likely
skilled professionals. I figured out the behavior of both manager and employee, such as what is
favorite part of job, how they are satisfied with the job, how they behave with their co-workers.
Introduction
Sybrid is Business process outsourcing company. It is a part of Lakson Group, a very known
group of Pakistan. Sybrid was launched in 2008 and currently Sybrid is serving in Pakistan, UAE
and USA. They provide different services to grow businesses, and also manage the businesses.
The first interview took from Mr. Faheem Arif, who is Head of Marketing and business research.
The second interview took from Suraksha Tarani, who is working as Brand Executive. She has
been working in Sybrid since past 3 months. before this, she has also done an internship of 2
months in Sybrid.

Interview 1 (Faheem, Marketing Head)
Behavior Observation:
I believe that he has an extroversion and conscientiousness personality (chap’ personality and
values) He is very connected with his co-workers. As a manager, he arranges regular office
meetings, not only in his own department but also in the other departments. He also tries to
connect with his other teams working in different cities and countries through WhatsApp or
Skype. He prefers audio or video calls for communication rather than emails. He believes calls
Diversity Management:
The company actually promotes diversity, more of a surface level diversity ( chap’ Diversity).
They have people from different backgrounds, different culture and religion, they have
employees from different states across Pakistan. They all work together. He is very proud
Motivating Employees:
The company uses the Maslow’s Need Hierarchy (chap’ Motivation) they do have incentives
program to boost up their employees motivation. The company believes that the financial
rewards are not enough to fully motivate the employees. That is why as a manager, he tries to
motivate his employees verbally like giving complements, admiring their work, he also tries to
give value to the employees for their work. He believes sometimes empowering the employees to
take decisions by their own can also motivate the employees and can increase the dedication to
their work.

.
Decision Making:
(I think the manager approaches the bounded rationality decision making) the most challenging
part of his job is hiring the right candidates for the job position. The problem is that there are
many people in the country who got their degrees but when they come for an interview, they do
not have any kind of homework about the company or about the job position, they are totally
blank, sometimes the candidates does not even know that where and why they are applying for
the job. So, hiring the right candidates is the biggest challenge that takes a lot of time and energy.
they are assigned to. Sometimes the people don’t understand the context of a decision or task
they are assigned to and perceive it in a different way. This is the initial problem that can lead the
employees to think negative about the task. If the employees start to think that there must be a
strong reason that a specific task assigned to a particular individual, their perception about the
financially sound then he or she will be a dedicated employee and would think about company’s
future. He rated himself out of 100% he said 60% is dedications towards the company or 40% for
financial. When I ask him. Are you satisfied with your wages? He said you can never be satisfied
thats a human nature, Personally, he is speaking that 40% financially or 60% to a company so for

him company have more value from his wages that is for sure (components of attitudes). Then he
said that everyone here comes for a wage they have a family as well if the company said that we
do not increase your salary in coming 3 years or inflation rate is high so ultimately, he takes a
decision to somewhere else because he have a financially obligations towards his family as well
(the manager has an affective and continuance commitment). So, I also have financially crunch
then financially gains comes on top of the company. He is in company for past 7 years, so he
always kept his company first and financial things in second. Because the company always
giving him financially benefits year on year. According to him job security is more important.
Flexible employees:
He gives flexibility to their employees. There are certain cases that we want an employee to stay
back and get the work done, so employees show the flexibility so it’s a vice versa.
Loyalty:
He feels his work is meaningful, and the CEO trusts him, appreciates him, that is why he does
not want to switch. (he has the continuance and normative commitment with the organization)

Interview 2 (Suraksha, Brand Executive)
Behavior with co-workers and manager:
(chapt’ Attitudes and job satisfaction) She feels very connected with her managers. The manager
of the company is Since she does not have any experience in the job, whenever she wants
guidance, the managers always help and guide her. If she has family issue or is not fine, the
manager always asks her if she needs any kind of help, as the environment of the company is
quite friendly.
She also feels very connected with her co-workers. They are very helpful and kind with her and
She finds her responsibility for the brand is most challenging part of her job, she believes that
she has to handle the brand very carefully and it’s very difficult for her because her mirror
Changes in Firm
She believes that the one thing she could change at work, it would be decreasing the layers of
approval process, because she thinks that the process takes too much time to get approved.
Diversity:
Before she came here there was no other girl in marketing department, although the company
employed some girls in the call canter department but in the marketing department, she was only
one here, after her the other girls were also getting started employed here. Now before hiring,
they do not consider that the person is male or female until the person is competent enough.

Feel Valued for Contribution (chapt’ Motivation)
She feels really valued for her contribution, as she is the brand executive, she does not only work
in her department, she also works with other department and they always appreciate her and they
always give value to her work. (theory Y-assumption, as she enjoys her work and always ready

she first got her job in Sybrid, she came to know that the pay is not everything but the
environment is, her relationship with her co-workers is really important, how she is comfortable
in organization, how the management reacts to her in the distinct situations. According to her,
these are the things which are far more important than pay. (Herzberg’s Two Factory Theory,
according to her , she prefers hygiene factors but the company makes sure that their employees
get motivated about the achievements and rewards for the given tasks )

Summarize of Both Interview
The favorite part of Mr. Faheem is Autonomy decision making, he looks forward too many other
fields however he is a head of marketing but have much know how about finance too, the most
challenging part of job is to hire and allocate the right resource for the appropriate job. Hiring a
good employee for his company is the tuff part of his job. The relation with co-workers of Mr.
Faheem is very close with all the department as they have a team in Islamabad, Lahore and USA.
Mr. Faheem seems very loyal to his work as well as with his company. There is no diversity in
this organization. They have peoples from different backgrounds, different cultures, from
The second interview was of an employee Miss Suraksha On the basis of Miss Suraksha’s
opinion, this organization is the best for her because they provide respect and honor which very
rare companies give. And she is a female as well as from other religion (Hindu) thus she is
having very secure and friendly environment. The organization provide her flexibility on leaves
because she uses to do her work on time before deadline from which she won the hearts of upper
management and enjoy leverages. Behavior of her with co-workers is very friendly.

Recommendation and Observation
1. They should make own app for customer to reach them easily because some time its quite
2. As we observe that the manager is very people oriented and in future this thing will
become a big disadvantage for the organization. Like if anybody comes and emotionally
convince to the manager the he or she want to leave, as we know that manager is so kind,
3. Come up with a package that includes training of the staff about the software.
5. The company should set a program before giving the job for which they give a speech
about job safety and tell them that if you will face any type of problem, direct comes to
the upper management and discuss the problem. This all speech gives the employees
inner satisfaction and the ratio of leaving the job will comes towards decreasing.
6. They should manage their environment like too much friendly environment is not good
for outsider impression. Employees are never on his seats they walk feel free as like they
are at home.
7. Still they appoint any graduated student who does not have any experience on this work.
This type of stupidity increase loss in his firm. They should hire right candidate for right
seats.
8. They should take their employees to vacation at least one time in a year, so that their
