(NURSERY/PRIMARY) IS A CHRISTIAN FAITH-BASED INSTITUTION. WE PURSUE
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE THROUGH THE INCULCATION OF STRONG MORAL
AND SPIRITUAL VALUES IN OUR PUPILS.WE ARE LOCATE AT THE HEART OF
THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY, ABUJA AND ARE LOOKING FOR A SCHOOL
ADMINISTRATOR WHO WILL FOSTER BEST PRACTICES IN THE SCHOOL
SYSTEM.

JOB SUMMARY/THE PERSON


THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR MUST BE SOMEONE WHO HAS PASSION FOR
THE JOB AND IS DEEPLY COMMITTED/DEVOTED TO HELPING BOTH THE
SCHOOL AND PUPILS REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIALS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
SHOULD POSSESS LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND BE ABLE TO BRING ON BOARD
INNOVATIONS THAT PROVIDE PUPILS WITH A SOLID EDUCATION.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL REPORT TO THE SCHOOL BOARD OF


DIRECTORS.

BE THE SCHOOL’S CHIEF MOTIVATOR AND PROVIDE THE NEEDED


INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION FOR PUPILS, STAFF AND PARENTS FOR THE
ATTAINMENT OF LEARNING AND WORKING OBJECTIVES

REVIEW & OBSERVE CURRENT TEACHING METHODS AND LEARNING


MATERIALS AS NEEDED AND TO ENSURE THEY MEET CURRENT
REQUIREMENTS.
WORK WITH TEACHERS AND OTHER STAFF TO ESTABLISH AND
UPHOLD CURRICULUM, SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT/CULTURE AND
PERFORMANCE GOALS AND STANDARDS.

MEET WITH PARENTS AND WORK WITH TEACHERS DURING


SCHEDULED MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES TO REVIEW SCHOOL POLICIES,
EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND STUDENT PERFORMANCES.

MEET WITH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO APPROVE JOB POSTINGS,


HIRE, INTERVIEW AND ONBOARD NEW TEACHERS AND ADDITIONAL STAFF
MEMBERS AS THEY JOIN THE TEAM.

CREATE, REVIEW AND MODIFY SCHOOL BUDGET AND RESOURCES


AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH.

DRAFT, PROOFREAD AND SUBMIT ALL FINANCIAL AND OTHER


REPORTS ACCORDING TO DEADLINES.

HELP WITH YEARLY ACCREDITATION PROCESS AND SCHOOL


IMPROVEMENT.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:

PROVEN EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS) IN SCHOOL


ADMINISTRATION. EXPERIENCE AS A TRAINED EDUCATOR IS AN ADVANTAGE.
KNOWLEDGE OF ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES OF SCHOOLS AND
GIVEN TO DETAIL

ABILITY TO USE COMPUTERS AND EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT


SYSTEMS.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

OUTSTANDING ORGANISATIONAL ABILITY

PROBLEM SOLVING AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS.

GOOD JUDGEMENT AND DECISION-MAKING APTITUDE.

DEGREE IN EDUCATION OR SIMILAR FIELD: POST GRADUATE DEGREE


IS A PLUS.
