 Coca-Cola is one of the iconic brands of all time. They used its competitive advantages
to become the world’s second largest beverage manufacturer. Coca cola owns and
market four of the world’s top non-alcoholic brands: Coca-Cola, Diet coke, Fanta and
sprite and these sold in more than 200 countries. Coca-Cola makes their branded
beverage products available to consumers throughout the world through our network of
Company-owned or controlled bottling and distribution operations as well as
independent bottling partners, distributors, wholesalers and retailers the world’s largest
beverage distribution system.
 Coca Cola Philippines’ goal is to use their Company’s assets, brands financial strength,
unrivaled distribution system, global reach, and the talent and strong commitment of
Coca-Cola’s management and associates, to become more competitive and to
accelerate growth in a manner that creates value for their shareowners.

 STRENGTH
 Coca Cola Philippines’ strength is their Brand Awareness, Coca-Cola is one of the most
widely recognized brands across the world and its signature logo, the classic red and
white colors, and also their world-famous jingle resonate with costumers of all ages.
Coca-Cola’s longevity in the industry makes their ownership to become one of the
leading brands in the soft drinks market.
 They launched its new global campaign “Taste the Feeling” reaching brand equity not
just here in local market but also in all over the world.

 WEAKNESSES
 Coca-Cola Philippines’ weaknesses are their water management and their Health issues.
Water management is one of the global issues directly associated with the business.
Coca-Cola Philippines has acknowledged this and told their investors that water is a
scarce natural resource in many parts of the world, and its supply is a major challenge
for their company. This happens not in Coca-Cola Philippines but also in other major
multi-national companies are actively working to improve water availability, quality and
sustainability, for the better operations and for the benefit of the communities that they
operate.
 Coca-Cola is basically rich in sugar, especially in sucrose which cause dental caries when
consumed regularly. Aside from that, obesity is a product of the high calorie content. In
the developing world, these are big health problems.

 OPPORTUNITIES
 Coca-Cola Philippines will improve their Brand Diversification and will continue to
develop their products other than beverages hat will fil the needs of different market
segments here in the Philippines.

 THREATS
 Coca-Cola Philippines has a direct competitor that is offering the same product. Pepsi
Philippines and RC Cola have both established a presence in the Philippine soft drink
market, and they could be able to compete with Coca-Cola Philippines' product line.
 Coca-Cola Philippines also has an indirect competitor that offers nutritious selection.
The high sugar content, which poses a challenge to soda makers as Filipinos grow more
health-conscious about their beverage consumption.

production process. When in terms of legislation, the government has the right to
