Provide a brief description of the product/software:

Blooket let’s the user (teachers) create games based their subject’s material or use whatever
content someone else made on the website. Teachers can assign games for students to play on
their own or they can host a game during class for students to compete against each other.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the product/software?

STRENGTHS: Anything that’s game related goes well with students. Whether that be quizlet
online, kahoot, cool math, or even when you’re really young, leap pad, playing games to learn is
always fun. It’s easy to get kids to memorize things for class when they get to have a fun break
from the paper work aspect. It also has a lot of cartoony designs which makes it stand out
WEAKNESS: It’s as good as you or anyone else makes it. If no one else made a good one with
question variations, then you have to make one yourself. It’s all effort based to determine if the
students will have fun with it. But as for actually using the program myself, nothing bothered me

Is the product/software easy for you and the students to use? Explain.
Oh for sure. I was able to watch a video on the questions and kids get the rules given to them so
no one is left behind.

Does the software serve its intended purpose, which is classroom use? Explain.
Absolutely. It’s made to help students learn in a fun way, so if the kids are having fun and
learning, then you get to reap the benefits and so do they

Are there multiple forms of media (audio, video, and textual communication channels) that
encourage the student to engage with the software? Explain.
There are tons of cartoony figures, fun music, within the program, and as a teacher, I can add
images or videos myself that the students may enjoy and find it more fun to participate. You can
also buy “boxes” for avatar changes with coins you get from playing the game and learning more

Is the documentation for the product/software, such as technical support, instructions on how to
use the product, and hardware requirements presented clearly on the website? Explain.
There’s both a settings and FAQ tab, so yes
Is the software adaptable to support specific accessibility needs of learners with disabilities?
Explain.
From my educated guess, I would assume so. You’re able to share on a projector or screen, and
the game also explains how to play and take you through it. Even if a child with disabilities is
still struggling, I myself could help as the other students can continue playing the game.

Does the software program give appropriate feedback to responses (assessment)?

Yes. Students get to know the answers and you get to track progress

Can the skill levels be adjusted by the student/instructor? Explain.

Depends solely on the level of the class. If I wanted to make it easy or hard, I would just change
the questions. The games themselves aren’t that difficult to play.
