All theories of globalization have been put hereunder in eight categories: liberalism, political realism,

Marxism, constructivism, postmodernism, feminism , Trans-formationalism and eclecticism. Each one of

them carries several variations.

1.liberalism

The Globalization of Liberalism demonstrates that liberalism is more deeply embedded in the structure
of modern international political and economic order than is usually realised, and that at present there
is a contested process of the 'globalization of liberalism'.

2.political realism

Realism is an approach to the study and practice of international politics. It emphasizes the role of the
nation-state and makes a broad assumption that all nation-states are motivated by national interests,
or, at best, national interests disguised as moral concerns.

3.marxism

Marx's thoughts on economic globalization mainly reveal the nature and trends of economic
globalization; he emphasizes that economic globalization is a result of the global expansion of
capitalism. ... Economic globalization has become a hot topic in academic discussion both in China and
abroad.

4. Contructivism

Social constructivism provides a particular view on globalization processes,a lens which allows us to
interpret globalization in distinctive ways and which leads us to ask specific questions about it. I suggest
two ways in which social constructivism can enlighten our understanding of globalization.

5.postmodernatism

postmodernism, also spelled post-modernism, in Western philosophy, a late 20th-century movement

characterized by broad skepticism, subjectivism, or relativism; a general suspicion of reason; and an
acute sensitivity to the role of ideology in asserting and maintaining political and economic power.

6.fenimism

Global feminism is a feminist theory closely aligned with post-colonial theory and postcolonial feminism.
It concerns itself primarily with the forward movement of women's rights on a global scale. ... Global
feminism is also known as world feminism and international feminism.
7.trans-formationalism

A theory which holds that globalisation is a complex process involving a number of different two-way
exchanges between global institutions and local cultures; it can be reversed and controlled.

8.eclecticism

Eclecticism is a conceptual approach that does not hold rigidly to a single paradigm or set of
assumptions, but instead draws upon multiple theories, styles, or ideas to gain complementary insights
into a subject, or applies different theories in particular cases.
