CITY MAYOR
CAUAYAN CITY

Dear MAYOR,
Greetings in the name of our lord and in the name of nation building!

Naimbag nga aldaw yu mayor, I am writing to you sir because I know how philanthropic your
heart is. I am planning to enroll in Law School this upcoming semester at Isabela State
University-Cauayan Campus. This has been my dream since I was a child but because my
family cannot afford to send me to law school, I decided to shift to teaching profession. I
graduated from Philippine Normal University-North Luzon campus batch 2016, and all my
hardships and sacrifices in life paid off because I graduated with a flying color, yes, even I
cannot believe that I made it to become cum laude, national nominee for the Ten
Outstanding Students of the Philippines (2016) and a Licensed professional teacher. Now I’ve
been in the teaching profession for almost 4 years and I was able to help my nanay and tatay
in our daily expenses and their medication. I was also able to send my two siblings in the
school and provide for their daily allowances. As a teacher, I only have enough salary for our
daily living since I am the breadwinner of the family. But now, I think its not too late to still
dream and pursue my dreams.
Mayor, I know how passionate you are in terms of nation building and addressing the SDG’s
here in our City. Sir, I am humbly asking for your help. The law books, tuition fees and etc.
are very costly in law school and I really have a very tight budget. I am humbly asking for a
financial assistance for my schooling. And don’t worry mayor, in return I’m going to give back
everything you have given to me to our proud cauayeno. Anyway, it has been my advocacy to
make sure that everyone is not denied by the law protection by the main reason of poverty
and status in life.
Thank you so much for patiently extending you time to read this letter, mayor.
My deepest gratitude in anticipation of your support!
May God bless you and your family. May you always be healthy and happy as always.

Sincerely yours,
Samuel A. Reyes
