Tidiness - Rubbish.
Tidiness - Rubbish.
SPEAKING PART 1:
A. TIDINESS
I. STRUCTURE
Yes …, but …
E.g: Are you a tidy person?
- Yes, quite tidy. I make a habit of making my bed in the morning, I usually wash the
pots straight after dinner. I wouldn’t say my house is spic and span, but it’s tidy
enough.
- Yes, I am a stickler for keeping things tidy. I like my home to be really shipshape. If
the house is messy, it just puts me in a bad mood, you know, I can’t find things and I
also feel bad because I know I should’ve cleaned up, but I haven’t.
E.g: Are you more tidy at work/ school or at home?
- Interestingly enough, I tend to keep my workplace in order, way more than my
home. I guess I just think tidiness and productivity are connected, but at home I just
want a more relaxed atmosphere.

difference. At the same time, some people, especially younger children, may not know
it can damage the environment.
- Well, if there is just a small amount, I will collect it and put it in the nearest bin. In
case of a huge pile or bulky waste such as heavy old furniture, I have no choice but
leave it to our street cleaners.
