It seems that you are all ready, now I

Let’s have a recap!

Yesterday we tackled the

characteristics of Healthful Home
Environment.
*The students are raising their hands*
Can you tell me what are these?
A healthful home should be dry and
clean, teacher.
Very good! What else?
A healthful home should be ventilated
and pest-free.
Good Job! Can you give me another
characteristic?
A healthful home should be well
maintained and safe, teacher.
Good Job, everyone! All of your
answers are correct. For that give
yourselves 5 claps.
*The students will clap 5x*
Very good! That is right, a clean
home is a safe and healthy home.
And can keep us away from dirt and
germs that can cause different kinds
of diseases.

In general, living in a clean and

healthy environment can help us to
reduce stress & promote a good
mindset.

So, with the help of the listed

characteristics, you can make a
healthier place for living.
Yes, teacher.
Did you understand, class?

C. Motivation

Alright! So now, let’s move on to our

next topic. But before that I will show
you some pictures which has
something to do with our new topic.
*The teacher will show a picture of
messy room*

A messy room, teacher.

Okay class, what do you notice in the
picture?
Cleaning materials, teacher.
Very Good! So, what do you think we
need to clean or fix this room?

Very Good! We need cleaning

materials to clean this room.

Today, I’ve prepared a task for you.

We will have a game called “Cleaning
Materials Hunting.”

Instead of treasure hunting we will

call it Cleaning Materials hunting
where in you must find the hidden
cleaning materials within the picture.

I’ve put eight (8) cleaning materials in

here. Just raise your hand, if you
have seen any cleaning materials.
Yes, Teacher.
Is that clear?
Yes, teacher.

*The students are raising their hands*

I see the feather dust, teacher.

Class, can you see the picture?

*The students keep answering until
Look at the picture and observe. The they see the eight cleaning materials. *
cleaning materials I hide have small
and large ones that you should really
check carefully.

*The students will clap 5x*

Very Good!
(RECITATION)

Good Job, kids! You all saw the

cleaning materials that I hide in the
picture.

You guys are great! For that give

yourselves 5 big claps!

*The students are raising their hands*

Now, among those of you who have

seen those cleaning materials, those
are not the only ones that are used to
make our home clean, there are
others, and we will discuss them
today.

Who among you helps your parents

to clean your houses?

Good Job, kids! I’m happy that you

know how to help your parents with
household chores. Washing the dishes, teacher.

Mopping the floor, teacher.

Wiping different stuff, teacher.

D. Lesson Proper
Okay class, before we proceed to our
main discussion, I have a question for
you.

How do you clean your home? Or

what kind of housework do you do?

Very Good! What else?

Very Good! Another?

Wow, very good class! I’m glad

because you already have ideas for
our new topic.

But today we will have a short story

telling first titled “The Witch House”

But before we begin, I have three

reminders for you.

at me.
● Second, your ears should only be
listening to the story, so that you can
understand it.

● And the third, just keep your mouth

closed and maintain silence. So that
you can fully understand the story.
All: No, teacher.
Are my reminders clear?

Teacher, if the environment is clean,

people will not get sick.
Very good! I am sure you understand
my reminders. Now, we will start our
story. Again, the title of our story is
“The Witch House”.
Teacher, when you work together,
(STORY) housework gets done faster.
So kids, would you like to live in a
witch house?

Okay class, for you why is it

important to clean the house?

Very Good! Earlier, you’ve mentioned

that you help your parents with the *The students will clap 5x *
housework. Why is it important to
help your mother, father, sister, and
brother with the housework?

Very Good! It is important that we

help our family with household chores
to get things done faster.

As they say, a family that works

together is a clean and happy family.

Good Job, kids! For that give *The students are raising their hands*
yourselves a 5 big claps! Sweeping the floor, teacher.

considered to provide children like

So class, what do you think are the

different ways to clean our home?

household chores that we do daily?

Very Good! What else? I see someone changing the bedsheet.

Is that right, teacher?
Very Good! In the second column we
have the weekly household chores. I
have 2 examples also which are
doing laundry or washing clothes and
disposing of garbage.

So class, what about the housework

we do weekly can you give me
another example aside from this?

Very Good! In the third column, what

do you see?

Yes, very good! As needed or if

required. We change bedsheets,
pillowcases, blankets, as well as
curtains that we all do at once.

That’s just some of the housework we

do on a weekly basis in our home. Yes, teacher.

All of them are ways for us to keep

our Healthful Home Environment.
And we must remember that we must
always help our mother, father, sister,
and brother to make housework done
more quickly.

And also remember a clean house

always have a healthy family.
