I. Objectives
At the end of the discussion, the learners will be able to;
a. identify objects according to different types of Three-Dimensional Shapes around us;
b. draw Three-Dimensional Shapes such as cubes, cones, cylinder, cuboid, pyramid, and
spheres with their own; and
c. work cooperatively and appreciate the concept of Three-Dimensional Shapes.
Okay class, before we sit down kindly pick up all Good morning, teacher!
the piece of paper on your place and please Good morning, classmate!
arrange your chairs properly. It’s nice to see you today.
3. Checking of Attendance
Now, let us check the attendance. Row leaders,
do you have absentees today?
Row 1
C. MOTIVATION
So now, I’ve prepared an activity for you. Our activity * The student will clap 3x*
is called “Name that shape!”.
The first group that will organize all the stuff well and
find the tangible objects will be the winner. The
winner will receive prize.
D. LESSON PROPER
Okay class, before we proceed to our main
discussion, I will show you a short video which has
something to do with our new topic and I want all of
you to observed carefully and enjoy.

Three-Dimensional(3D)
Shapes can be defined as a solid figure or an object
or shape that has three-dimensions.
Lengthy, width, and height.
Three-dimensional shapes have thickness & depth.
Very Good!
Cube, Cone, Sphere, Cylinder,
When we say faces of 3D Shapes it is the flat part of Pyramid
the shape. And Rectangular Prism
Very Good! Cube has 12 edges. 2D has only length and width
while the 3D has length,
When you hear vertices, what do you think is that? width, and height.
Correct! Vertices or corners is a point where two or 2D has no thickness and depth
more lines meet. while 3D shapes define as a
solid figure.
I will show you where vertices located. *The students will clap
5x! *
E. APPLICATION

The first group that will finish the task will be the
winner. The winner will receive prizes. 8, teacher.
