having dusts
3. Pick a clean rag then wipe the walls
and all the appliances.
4. Then after wiping, take the broom and
clean the dirt on the floor using the
dustpan
5. After brooming, mop the floor with
soap and disinfectant. Aftermath, mop
it again with clean water
6. After mopping, let the floor dry for a
minute then when it’s dry apply floor
wax.

Alright. Let’s proceed. Let’s start with Basic

Sketching. Nadia, can you read the meaning
of basic sketching?

In simple context class, sketch is referring to a
quick, informal drawing. That means it’s just
representing the characteristics of the subject
with just a few incisive strokes.

shading. Steffany, can you read what the
meaning of shading is? Yes, Ma’am
Sketch is traditionally a rough drawing in
which an artist notes down his preliminary
ideas for a work that will eventually be
realized with greater precision and detail.

Thankyou, shading on the other hand is done
to create an illusion and helps illustrate depth
in paper. We have different techniques to use
in shading.

1. Hatching
2. Cross hatching
3. Stippling
4. Scribbling
5. Smudging

Hatching class involves creating groups or

patterns of parallel lines. These lines don't
have to be completely vertical or horizontal. Yes, Ma’am
They can also be slanted or follow any angle

Scribbling A scribble is a drawing composed

of random and abstract lines, generally
without ever lifting the drawing device off of
the paper. It is an excellent technique to use
when drawing specific subjects like trees or
hair because it not only creates values, but
also transmits a sense of texture. (Class is listening attentively)

Smudging means that you have to work less

to achieve shading. You simply put some
graphite down and then smear it to cover a
larger area much more quickly

shading. Again, what are the basic techniques
in shading?
 Great Job! Now let’s proceed to the last of
which is Outlining. Zasha Kindly read what is
outlining.

Correct! Thank you Zasha. Outline is the

initial outline sketch before any shading or
coloring has been added. The outline can be
used for reference points when adding more
detailed elements at a later stage. Outline
class is like the anchor that holds the rest of
the drawing together because without it you
do not know where to start your drawing
because it serves us guidelines whenever we
are drawing.
