"Your student is not performing well in your class because that student is experiencing bullying
➢ First thing that I will do or must do as a teacher is acquiring all my students' information.
This information will help me build a strong foundation in knowing what’s behind it or why
they’re bullying their classmates. There are a lot of reasons why student’s bully, it might be
because of physical features, beliefs, or social class. Take for example, a lot of students
were bullied because they belong in the lower class (social class of people) they bully other
students because they think they’re higher. Some students think they can do what they want
because when you have money, you’re not afraid of anything that’s why
students will be beneficial not only in solving the problem of bullying but also it will
➢ After acquiring all the information, I should talk to both, the bullies, and the victim. I will do
this because as a teacher I should not just help the victim but also the bullies too. These
students also need guidance from an adult, because I believe there’s a reason why they’re
➢ After talking to both, I will evaluate/analyze both the situations to form a judgment that will
be fair for both. This also includes analyzing my students, specifically the victim’s previous
assessment to finalize whether bullying is the reason why she’s having a hard time learning
or not.
➢ After forming a judgment, I will seek help from professionals just to make sure that my
students will also be supervised and looked after by professionals just to make sure that (the
bullies) they will not do it again and as for the victim, she/he will not develop trauma or
anxiety because of what had happened. Also, if I found out bullying is not the cause, I will
give that student of mine an assessment that will suit his/her learning style.
➢ That will not be unfair to other students as I will develop creative assessment that will be
uniform even if my students have different learning styles. This assessment will also help
my students to become more engaged with each other as the assessment that I will do must
meet the 2 objectives. First is to improve their learning and second is to develop a peaceful
classroom where they can learn as well as be connected to strengthen their relationship with
each other.
➢ In that assessment I will also include the cultural and global citizenship awareness topic to
strengthen student’s learning about how culture is different, specifically why we are living
differently compared to others and instill them the values of global citizenship which are
being creative, innovative, having commitment to peace, human rights, and sustainable
development.
Personal Growth and Well-being (Implement and Measure the Results) ➢ The assessment will
not only develop their learning but as well as them as a human being. Because this assessment
will also measure the results if they learn something from it because this is not just for
improving their learning it is also about developing their personal growth as a well-being and a
better citizen of this nation. So, if the results are good then they learned and when not I should
start all over again and look where am I lacking and what can I do to improve my student’s
situation more.
