SAMPLE MEMO FOR REVIEW

Pursuant to phone contact of October 7, final sales totals for the quarter ending in September are
enclosed herewith. A planning conference for all sales personnel will be scheduled for the near future
and these figures will be discussed. It is hoped that all district managers will be aware that the figures are
such that reductions in the total number of dealerships and retail units may be indicated. A meeting to
discuss this matter will be held on Monday, 17 October, at 10 a.m., in the regional manager’s office.
Thank you for your cooperation.
