- Specific Conditions of Contract (SCC-HSE) : HSE RELATED SERVICES

1. Service Hours:
Service hours include transportation time, document review, inspection or survey time or training time and report preparation time.

2. Man-Day:
A man-day corresponds for a maximum of 8 hours of services on normal working days. The normal working day means normal
business timing on working day, (excluding public holidays, Saturdays, Sundays and night shifts). Minimum inspection fees will be
for one man-day.

3. Man-Month:
A man-month corresponds to maximum 24 working days/month and maximum 8 hours/day. Man-month rates will be applicable
only in the event of deputation of the same surveyor for more than 20 days on a continuous basis on an assignment, otherwise our
Man-day rates shall be applicable. Client shall reimburse the cost of travel towards mobilization and demobilization of BVIL
Surveyor (i.e. return fare from BVIL Office to project site). We prefer local accommodation to be provided by client. Client shall
provide a reasonably furnished office premise at site for the surveyors.

4. Safety Training:
The Safety Training course shall be delivered in English or Hindi depending on the language understood by the majority of
participants. However, the powerpoint presentations/course material shall be in English only. The venue of training shall be
arranged by Client with all requisite training facilities including suitable conference room with proper seating arrangement, LCD
projector, Whiteboard and lunch & refreshments for all participants. Client shall arrange for or reimburse the to & fro travel between
Mumbai and the venue of the training, local conveyance and lodging & boarding for the HSE tutor(s) nominated by Bureau Veritas.
The training course is of maximum 8 hours per day and maximum participants per batch shall not be more than 20 persons. Bureau
Veritas shall submit a soft copy (pdf version) of the course material and assessment question paper to Client. The necessary no. of
copies of the course material and the question paper shall be prepared by Client for distribution to the participants.

5. Safety Audit:
For conducting Independent safety Audit, BVIL will depute its HSE Experts from any of its offices in India depending on their
availability and preoccupation with other assignments. Client shall provide for or reimburse the to & fro airfare between nearest
airport from the BVIL office deputing the HSE Expert for carrying out the Safety Audits and the nearest airport from the project site
to be audited, local conveyance and lodging & boarding for the HSE Experts. Our fees are inclusive of checklist preparation, site
visits and report preparation. Client shall give atleast 2 weeks advance notice to conduct the Safety Audit. Client shall nominate a
senior level person preferably from Safety function, to liaison with the audit team and accompany the auditors during the entire
course of the plant visit.

6. HSE Co-ordination:
BVIL shall depute HSE Expert at your project site from any of its offices in India depending on the availability. Client shall provide
for or reimburse at actuals, the to & fro airfare between the nearest airport from the BVIL office deputing the HSE Experts and the
nearest airport from the project site, local conveyance (one-time expenses – at the time of joining and leaving the site) and lodging &
boarding for the BVIL HSE Experts. Client shall provide for or reimburse at actuals, the daily to & fro conveyance between the
project site and the hotel (accommodation place) for BVIL HSE Experts. Client shall provide free & safe access to sites.

The respective site management of Client shall provide a guide/representative to accompany the BVIL experts throughout the course
of his visits to respective project sites. Client shall provide free and safe access to the audit team at its various sites.

7. Overtime:
Service hours in excess of a working day are considered as overtime. Overtime is charged at 1.5 times of normal rates. Rates for
Sundays and Public holidays would be 2 times of the normal rates. For contracts using lump sum price, overtime rates are
specifically addressed in the offer.

8. BVIL Centers:
Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi, Baroda, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore.

9. Expenses:
Travel beyond the distance of 50 kms. from the nearest BVIL Performing Centre (depending upon the availability of the competent
surveyor) shall be charged at the rate of Rs.12 per km for such additional travel made by road. Travel by air or rail (for distance
above 100 kms.) as well as living (lodging & boarding) and other related expenses shall be payable extra as applicable.

10. Service Tax (GST):


Unless expressively stated otherwise in the offer the service tax (GST) shall be charged extra, as applicable.

11. Form of payment of invoices:


The invoices are payable within 30 days of date of invoice. Overdue invoices will have the amounts to be paid increased by 1.5% per
month since the invoice due date up to the invoice collection date.
