THE LORD ALIRIO AGUILERA OSPINA

Don Alirio is the owner of the San Isidro farm, in the municipality of Palestina, Huila and
held the honor roll of the farmers' cup of excellence. He is 60 years old, he has been
familiar with the cultivation of coffee for 26 years. This work has beencarried out by all his
family and he has said that he feels totally happy that it is so. He has five achievements and
in all and every one of them has shown total commitment.

In dialogue with LA NACIÓN, after his arrival at the 'Benito Salas' airport in Neiva, Alirio
Aguilera Ospina, a coffee farmer from the municipality of Palestina and winner of the 2013
Cup of Excellence, pointed out that his triumph, added to that of15 other coffee growers
opitas that They were located in the first 20 places, they confirm that Huila produces the
best coffee in the country and, without a doubt, thebest in the world.

This is the fifth time that a coffee grower from Huila has achieved the title. A serene
peasant, dedicated much of his life to growing coffee, a job he inherited from his father, is
just one of the qualities of Alirio Aguilera Ospina, who in his fourth participation in the
Cup of Excellence contest won the title of best coffee Incolombia.

Alirio has been dedicated to growing coffee all his life. It was an activity that he
inherited from his father, so he himself said. He has been familiarizing me with coffee
cultivation for 26 years. He has eight hectares of which he has the best known coffee, all
fully cultivated, lots of which he collects the coffee that for the fortune of his family and
the department of Huila today represents the best coffeein the country.

The producer in dialogue with LA NACIÓN, highlighted that Café Aguilera was launched
in order for the national and international market to have the possibility ofenjoying a cup of
high quality coffee from Huila, a product that at Expoespeciales 2013 has had a wide
reception from the buyers.

Now the aroma, the special acidity, the flavor, body and unequaled balance of thecoffee
produced by Don Alirio Aguilera Ospina, can be widely enjoyed by the localmarket,
thanks to the fact that this fierce producer launched a special edition of his beans called
'Café Aguilera ', which was launched within the framework of Expoespeciales 2013.

For Alirio Aguilera, participating in Expoespeciales has been the main window to make
his high-quality coffee even more known, recognition that for him is the resultof years of
work and dedication.

In one of his interviews he shared this with us: knowing what has led us to occupythis first
position, what secrets we have, but what I tell people is that there are no secrets, it is a task
that everyone knows how it is, what it is of perseverance, consistency, of asking God a lot
and thanking him very much for all the achievements we have achieved, a job that we
carry out with the whole family and it is a job that has lasted for many years, "said Alirio
Aguilera. Alirio has also shared that he will continue working on this beautiful project so
that Colombia and other countries continue to enjoy quality coffee.
