OF THE 3.5-TON CLASS.

T he Exsis demonstrates our many years of experience in the field of

lightweight construction: even when almost fully kitted out with two
people on board, a full fresh water tank and two full gas bottles, there are
still payload reserves of up to 450 kilograms depending on the layout. An
all-time best in the 3.5-ton category. The exterior of the Exsis also boast a
unique design and ingenious features. Amongst other things, its aerody-
namic design ensures low fuel consumption, quiet driving and a perfect
view. The innovative bodywork technology endows the Exsis with excellent
insulation values, stability and durability.

HYMER EXSIS 580

The new generation of the Exsis builds on the Fiat low-frame chassis,
which is optimised for motorhomes. It impresses with a brand new interior
concept and is a future-proof embodiment of the new HYMER design
language. The integrated and semi-integrated models of the Exsis are
available in the 580 layout.

The existing Exsis is still available with the proven combination of

Fiat chassis cowl and ALKO frame – in a large selection of layouts and
modern furniture finishes.

The position of the fold-down bed above the cab offers maximum
freedom of movement and headroom. It offers a comfortable bed sur-
face extending across the entire width of 1.50 m.

COMFORT BATHROOM.
The redesigned comfort bathroom with large shower space offers plenty
of elbow room, both in front of the washbasin and while showering. Gen-
erous bathroom cabinets with plenty of storage space make it easy to
keep all your accessories within reach. The shelves are fitted with ten-
sioning straps as standard to keep small and fragile items secure, even
when the vehicle is in motion. The bench toilet features an ergonomic
sitting position and is easy to clean.

O ne edition model, one price. We’re making it easy for you to choose
the perfect HYMER vehicle. The Exsis Pure comes with a compre-
hensive equipment package that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of
driving and living comfort. And all on a new Citroën chassis.

Its all-round lightweight construction paired with the 165 hp engine will
take you effortlessly to any destination. It also features cruise control,
air conditioning and 16-inch alloy wheels. Thanks to the standard
fold-down bed, the integrated version can sleep up to four people.

In any case, the Exsis Pure combines intelligent interior design with
living comfort. The living area is characterised by elegant interior
decor in Sauvignon Oak as well as seamless, functionally integrated
furniture. For example, the 32-inch flat screen TV is set into the wall
of the comfort bathroom. The bathroom itself is equipped with a large
shower with wooden slatted shower tray and practical bench toilet.

The twin beds at the rear are over 1.90 m in length and come with an
additional central cushion for easy access. A good amount of storage
space is provided under the beds and in the floor-to-ceiling, full-length
wardrobe. The practical L-shaped seating area with bed conversion
and foldaway table blends harmoniously into the living area and is
arranged opposite a kitchenette featuring a 142-litre fridge-freezer.

The equipment package for the edition model also includes ambient
lighting, automatic gas-bottle switching and an awning.

DUAL REVERSING CAMERA FOLD-DOWN BED ORGANISER

The reversing camera is elegantly integrated into the third brake light and
painted in the same colour as the bodywork. This allows easier and safer
washing of your vehicle, as no additional holes for cable bushings or screw
connections are required in the rear wall. The high-quality camera offers an
excellent field of vision. You can also use it as a rearview mirror to observe

we left, somewhat wistfully, our own terrace the previous evening …

F or us, the Corsican adventure begins on one of those late summer

evenings we would love to spend sitting on the terrace with a
glass of wine until dawn. However, this time the wine stays in the cellar.
Just eight  hours later we need to be in Livorno, which is almost
700  kilometres away, in order to reach the outgoing ferry that will
take us to Corsica.

A SLEEPLESS NIGHT
And, as everyone knows, the ferry waits for no one – especially not
German holiday campers. So, we hit the road and cruise past many
beautiful places that are more than worth a visit: Innsbruck, Verona,
Modena, Bologna and Florence – we simply skate around them and
disappear into the starry, Italian night.

But when our ML-T 570 finally turns off towards the port of Livorno
after a journey of almost seven hours (there is even time for a fresh
espresso before boarding the ferry), those missed opportunities are
already long forgotten. On the four-hour crossing to Bastia there is
only excitement about finally reaching our dream island.
And, of course, a short nap to catch up on the previous night’s sleep.

small or large aluminium HYMER dog box, e.g. while on the
road. For a cosy nap during the day or night, there is also our
made-to-measure and easy-to-clean HYMER dog bed (for
Fiat and Mercedes) in imitation leather, including comfort
cushion and leash. The practical flex&leash dog leash can
be easily wrapped around the table leg and offers freedom
of movement from 85 cm to 150 cm. The HYMER awning

Hopefully, your motorhome will never be stolen. However, should the worst hap-
pen, the dual GPS system will keep tabs on its location. This battery-powered
system can be easily installed in any number of places in or on the vehicle. If re-
quired, it can also be refitted to a different vehicle with ease. If the vehicle is re-
ported as stolen to the alarm centre, our employees will locate the system and
initiate the recovery procedure. The retrieval of your HYMER vehicle will always
be handled by the local police authorities, with whom the alarm centres are con-
stantly sharing information.
MONITORING SYSTEM
The E-Connect is the centrepiece of the E-Connect system. The module is
connected to a 12 V supply and then receives data about your motorhome.
With the aid of the user-friendly E-Trailer app, you can then access this data
at your convenience. For example, you can view information about current tyre
pressures and temperatures thanks to the “E-Pressure” feature. To install
E-Pressure, simply replace your current valve caps with the new E-Pressure
valve caps. Also included in the contents are the “E-Level” and “E-Volt”
modules which are activated simply by scanning the QR code.

The entrance to the port of Gothenburg is spectacular: the Stena Line
ferry only narrowly fits underneath the Älvsborgbron bridge. The
masterly performance of the crew is especially evident from our van-
tage point on the top deck. After we dock, everything happens very
quickly – we are back on the road towards Kristiansund in no time. We
have allowed eleven hours to complete the approximately 850-kilo-
metre drive to the Atlantic coast; however, it ends up taking us a little
longer due to some very worthwhile stop-offs.

T he Stena Line ferry glides serenely through the Archipelago of

HYMER B-SL – B-ML T/I

Gothenburg, accompanied by screaming seagulls. Our HYMER
B-Class MasterLine, almost eight metres long and three metres tall,
rolls easily to its appointed place inside the hull. After a relaxed
evening with an excellent buffet followed by a restful night, we stand
on deck and enjoy the new morning. Travelling by ferry to your desti-
nation puts you in a holiday mood right from the start. Like a switch
being flipped, relaxation sets in spontaneously the moment you
check in. We grab our bags and make our way to our cabin. We’re all
set. We opted to travel via Gothenburg because we want to check
out the Swedish west coast. The traditional route via Oslo, on the

A single picture of the Atlantic Road – called “Atlanterhavsveien” in

Norwegian – was enough to make up our minds. The photo showed
a lonely street in the middle of the sea, surrounded by thunderous
waves, steadfastly defying the forces of nature. Such striking sym-
bolism! It doesn’t take us long to load the motorhome and set off for
the north. Our e-trekking and mountain bikes are also on board, as we
want to experience this part of the coast both on and off-road by bike.
