EVOLUTION & FORM

CHANGE
Evolution Changes

Pokémon that would normally need to be traded to evolve now have an additional evolution
method. As a quick summary, Pokémon that don’t need to hold an item when traded will evolve via
friendship, while those that do need an item will evolve by levelling up while holding that item. Note

Form Change
Pokémon with manual form changes can change forms as described below:

Deoxys:
Take a Deoxys to Professor Cozmo in Fallarbor Town after returning the Meteorite.

Rotom:
Take a Rotom to Birch’s Lab and interact with this pile of boxes:
Furfrou:
Talk to this woman in the Pokémon Fan Club in Slateport:

Oricorio:
Use a Nectar item on it, as you would in the official games. All nectars respawn daily, so there’s an
unlimited supply of them.

Mega Evolution
To mega evolve a Pokémon, you first need the Mega Bracelet. This is given to you right before you
battle Norman – you can’t miss it. Then, have your Pokémon hold its mega stone. When you send it
into a battle, press START on the move selection screen and then choose a move.

Rayquaza works similarly, but must know Dragon Ascent instead of holding a mega stone. It can
learn Dragon Ascent from a move tutor in Meteor Falls.

Primal Reversion is not implemented yet.
