Read and Watch. Here are the guide questions, answers this after watching the video
and reading the article.

Guide Question:

1. What are the preparation and prevention that is present in your community that

you see and read in the video?

+ Our community presented the preparation and prevention we needed to

know as their comrade. They totally discuss about the things that we need to before,
during, and after the disaster. At first, we should have to make an emergency plan
before the disaster for the good of our own family, prepare all the things, food and first
aid kit make sure that is accessible to everyone. We should know where are the
emergency of our place, we already have the list of people that the rescuer can contact
in the emergency. During the disaster we should stay calm and follow the community
protocols and you need to evacuate, evacuate immediately in the safe area where does
that every member of your family is really safe. And lastly, after the disaster strikes you
should stay in the evacuation area and listen to further information announced by the
officials and before you return home make sure that it is safe and also instructed by the
officials too. Especially, if you encounter having lack about food necessities
immediately go to the local assistance for relief goods and for the family members who
are also affected asked how they feel and comfort if needed.

2. Why community prevention and preparation is important?

+ Being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety, and losses that accompany disasters.
Communities, families, and individuals should know what to do in the event of a fire
and where to seek shelter during a powerful storm. It is the key to a community's ability
to respond to and recover from an incident. It requires engagement and coordination
with a cross-section of state, local, and tribal partners as well as other stakeholders.
Strengthen community partnerships to support health preparedness.

3. What do you think is the advantage of having clear community guidelines for

disaster or phenomena?

+ To improve decision-making before, during, and after emergencies through

improved access to and quality of information. Losses caused by natural disasters can
be reduced by taking appropriate action based on wise decision making. Therefore, the
foremost consideration in designing an information system is how well it serves
decision makers. To this end, a system should provide enhanced access to reliable
information. Access is steadily improving through advances in computing and
telecommunications technologies, and timely access is becoming less and less
problematic. Technological advances are also improving reliability and speed—at
decreasing costs. In addition, a system should provide robust accessibility to data and
information for critical decision makers by assuring priority access in times of
emergencies. This is essential for effective response and continuity of government.
