ASSIGNMENT 6
Module 6: The Ministries of Jesus
Instruction:
A. Answer the following questions. (10 points each)

1. Among the ministries of Jesus (preaching, teaching and healing), which do you
consider as the best one? Explain your answer by citing at least three reasons.

Among Jesus' ministries, I consider His teaching ministry to be the best one.
Jesus used a variety of methods that made His teachings both striking and
memorable, understandable and provoking. These methods included many well-
known methods of His day, as well as qualities that we are still familiar with—
poetry, proverbs, exaggeration, parables, similes, riddles, and paradoxes. What set
His teachings apart from others was the message that they contained. Jesus taught
that the Kingdom of God had come, and that He, as the incarnate and divine Lord,
was its Ruler. This kingdom challenged the standards of the kingdoms of men and
called its citizens to live in radically different ways.

2. In what aspect of your life do you need healing? (Physical, emotional, mental,
spiritual) What measures can you do to attain it?

I need healing in all aspects of my life. Last year, I have faced challenges in terms
of my mental health. Mental health is more than the presence or absence of a mental
illness. It is a crossroad between emotional, psychological, and physical well-being.
Along with the health impacts of the disease, COVID-19 has led to, self and social
isolation, disconnection from family and friends, quarantine and lockdowns on
movement resulting in experiencing feelings of helplessness, isolation, grief, anxiety
and depression. We live in turbulent times and compacted by the COVID-19
pandemic; the issue of mental health is not only relevant but crucial.

The measures I can do to attain it is to take into account how to work with the
challenges in life. Being able to overcome the healing process is one of the most
rewarding achievement to anyone. The process to overcome and to grow from our
challenges shape us in a very tangible manner. Healing ourself isn’t about getting
back to a predefined state of where you once were. Consider your interests, things
that bring you joy and things that keep you motivated. Also, think about the things
you want, like where you want your life to go or what you would do more of if you
could. Having a deep investment in the goals that you set will increase the chances of
completing them. And always remember that “To Heal Is to Make Whole Again.”
